Not sure what your trying to say Bill. Honest people will keep the lines of communication open that's a big sign you've been had once the line goes quiet.
This is a cautionary tale of don't do business with someone who only has 1 post and registered less than a month.

Since they are a brand new member, I would absolutely insist on receiving item first before payment goes out. Take it or leave it.With that being said, OP stated it's only been 3 days of no communication before he started this thread. Personally, I don't feel that's a very long time. I would, begrudgingly, give it a week before I lose it and start crying foul.Perhaps something catastrophic happened with/to the seller. Wouldn't be the first time here, something detrimental happened to a member and we don't find out for awhile.I hope things work out for you, Jay, and that this isn't a case of being ripped off.

I'm saying that this Raptor dude is a member and he has yet to respond here either.
I sent it F&F paypal.
Let's not be so quick to jump on the cancel culture nonsense. A warning has been posted to be aware of a possible scamer. Who knows what is really going on. Giving that the most of the members here are old enough to have grand kids and some have great grandkids who really knows what is going on. Lack of communication can come in many forms and reasons.
Look...Once again... thank you for the warning and sharing your experience. I hope that somehow this gets resolved for you.But I think this thread has a more important lesson for our members. There is a reason that the GTA restricts the use of our Classified Gate to members with 20+ posts and 30+ days is to protect our members from situations just like this.Hopefully others will take this lesson and avoid this outcome. Those rules will not guarantee that all transactions will be smooth, that's where research on the part of both parties needs to be done.I know the OP knows where he went wrong and opened the door to be taken advantage of and that's exactly what happened.Do the leg work and protect yourselves.I promise you that I, the other mods nor the admins of this forum are not going to let this thread turn into a mud slinging match. The point of the thread has been made.
