Interesting thought here. Years ago, when I was into the minutia of rifle building, I remember reading in gunsmith reference works that a very slight bit of upward pressure at the tip of the rifle stock fore end was desirable when glass bedding . Complete free-floating may have since replaced that. But just a thought that came to mind. Don.
