i bought a high end mic from a guy once for a coiple grand and when he found out it was worth three times that he made up some excuse and never hipped it a month later he relisted it. perturbed me off but you cant make a shade crook do whats rite.

Nah he wouldn't have jerked it up so fast.  I do believe he bought it and re-listed.  Because he made a typo.  Or just screwed up.

If the gun was sent to you for repairs, I wonder if that means somebody did actually get the deal of a lifetime or if the seller pulled it to have some work done so they can get more for it ?

Thank you. The collector who purchased it wanted to preserve the patina. And it shoots very well too.

A diopter with 10-32 threads will fit. There are reproductions offered on ebay.

  It is nice to see another example breathing with new life UJ, well done sir.

  I used one of those Ebay eye pieces when I had my Sheridan Model A sight made, and they are very nice. FYI, it is the same threaded eye piece as used on the Benjamin peeps that he sells, so if you have one laying around it will fit either sight.

I have one of the repop benji 273 peeps and am quite happy with the quality.
I bought one for my 312, and one for the 342 I was giving my buddy which was missing it's rear sight.

The one I ordered on 2/1 arrived today from Hawaii.  No complaints about the quality.  I can't say with absolute certainty the one on my rifle is original, but presuming it is...   The knurling on the new one appears be slightly coarser, and sharper than the original.  After all, it's new.  Threads are in much better shape than the original, too.  Really, the only disappointment is the aperture is slightly smaller than the original; I was needing bigger, not smaller.  On the other hand, it's easier to make a small aperture bigger than it is to make a big one smaller.

  I have 2 of his 273 repops on rifles and am totally pleased with them. I had to mod one slightly because my 347 has a low sight line, but still worked a treat.
