Airforce Condor safety issue

Pulled out the Condor for a few shots last night. The thing fires when the safety is pushed forward.  Luckily the barrel was pointing to the ground the first time.  This safety is a joke. A piece of flimsy wire on an otherwise exceptional rifle. Done ranting...

If I was a designer for AF this would be my top priority. This is a liability issue and a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Some things never change , heard & saw the same thing when they came out. Dont worry though I hear an upgrade is due to be released right after the repeater model comes out.

Yes, I pulled mine out of all my Talons and just release the hammer when I want to be safe.

darn it, thats about the one thing that would stop me from buying a condor.. if they released a repeater version id be all over that like a fat kid on ice cream cake with a twinkie on top

Same here, never taken that gun into consideration because of the fact that it's only a Single shooter

So far I've never needed the 2nd shot.Single shot stops ya from buying one? Every break barrel out there's a single shot,the Discovery's a single shot. C'Mon,ya gotta do better than that,he he. The Safety issue I haven't had,,but they say it's the older guns that have this problem and they fixed it,(So we'll see). I really can't say anything about other peoples opinions,,but the .25 I have is one sweet rifle,single shot or not.

If you can shoot it,,you'll only need the first shot.I stopped taken the  pest's at 25 & 30,,set it too 50 and she's not failed once out of 11 so far.

To each their own as everyone likes different things, otherwise we'd all be shooting the same guns.Never knock something til you try it as I'm guilty of that with the Condor,(but after buying mine) I wouldn't part with it for nothing.

i want a .25 condor i love how they look and they deff have the power.. but i dont want to buy 2 of the same guns and knowing my luck a year after i drop 700 on a condor bounty hunter in red from pa some one is going to make a post that air force is working on a repeater version... the disco being single shot is ok because there is the option to upgrade to a repeater but being that its only 400 to get ur feet wet in the pcp pond with the disco & pump that makes up for the single shot... but i will say this if af releases a repeater version i think crosman will see a drop in sales on the mrod. i for one would never bother with a .25 mrod if the condor had a repeater upgrade or came as a repeater. id skip the mrod and go right to the condor with out a 2nd thought..

I'm shooting Wild Boar with my .25s, .......so far it's being one shot and down, but I rather have the fast racking option of a followup

I like a lot about them Condors, but I'll never buy a single shot Small Bore, ....break Barrels are for trigger time in the backyard

texas lol wild boar are causing millions of dollars in crop and land damage every year.. you guys up north just wait a few more years and you wil get the first wave of the wild boar problem and its all down hill from there..

there is company in texas that takes you up in a heli straps you in and lets you hang out the door shooting at boar with semi ar15's and ak47's

where getting off topic but i will say if they are in youre area it will get to the point that it becomes a safety issue to walk around in the woods or brush with out a pistol.. one of the guys my dad hunts with last year had to get 31 stiches because he got charged by a big male hog  while walking from the deer stand to his truck.. he got off one shot with his deer rifle and it broke the hogs front leg but the hog didnt stop, it kept charging and got my dads friends leg as he was trying to get into the bed of the truck

every time i go to my dads deer lease with him to just check feeders or do some work he hands me a pistol and ya you dont go anywhere outside with out it..

Some of the crazy Canucks are getting 10-15 shots at 70fpe/fill w the bt65 Hatsan repeater, in .25cal. Mine does about 35/fill at 50fpe.

That gun should be sent directly to Air Force or to them via the selling dealer. They have had that issue on a small number of guns and the factory has a fix for it.
When they first came out they had an issue with the gun not firing when the trigger was pulled also. Whenever it has anything to do with a factory based liability issue I step aside and let them deal with it. It is their problem to sort out and stand behind & from my perspective they have done a good job of it.

I joke that when they do a repeater I will use it on my US FT & Hunter but reality is you need a back up shot only when YOU screw up and it is 95% of the time not going to be an opportunity at all. Replace folow with screwed.

Manufacturers are the only ones that should deal with these sort of things.
