Just bit the bullet and ordered a new GX-CS4 from the factory website. Got free shipping and used a 10% off coupon. Total cost $504 to my door I can hardly wait. What coolant do you fellows suggest? I've read somewhere about using Zerex G48 anti-freeze and other places say use distilled water mixed with "water wetter". Curious to know what you fellows suggest.ThxRay

I have yet to have it get much over normal body temp when filling my guns, even those that take a 5000 psi fill or holds 580cc of air! When you get it, I would fill the water reservoir with distilled water and turn on the power. This will start the water pump and flush the lines. Then drain and repeat until you get all the garbage out of the lines and the water is running free and clear. The drain it, start it one more time (just briefly) to clear the rest of the water from the lines. Dump that water and fill with the coolant. Turn it on one more time and let the water pump run a minute of so to get all the air our t of the lines, then top off with coolant if needed. Now, turn it one, set your auto-stop to 5000 psi, install the dead-head plug, open the air release valve and start the compressor. Close the air release and watch how quickly and quietly it fills to 5000 psi! Once it stops, rewear the air pressure from the air release valve and you're ready to rock n roll! Enjoy!
That is the condensent drain, it's attached to the internal water separator. Any water resulting from condensation during operation will be blown out that drain when you open the pressure release valve after a fill.

How much does this add to the fill time?ThxRay
