I wonder what the cocking effort is like.
I only bring this up because I had a Career 707 years ago, same lever action cocking principle, but the downward stroke of the lever action took tremendous effort because it was pulling back a powerful hammer spring.

I have two hatsan flash .22 The Vectis can be loud I wished they had the same shroud Qe system the Flash has. It can be cut off and a moderator added.

Further reading plenty of info on silencing the gun…below is one of many….end of barrel is 1/2x20….if I purchase will leave factory shroud on……good luck

I also have several CAREER 707 and SUMATRAS  and these HATSAN VECTIS is so easy to cock. Very little effort. Also remove 2 pins in end of plastic mod and remove insides then a nut to remove entire shroud. A QE  bolts right on with no issues.

I believe I ordered the QE shroud and barrel band from HATSAN for the synthetic Flash. Direct fit.

 I have the Vectis in .25, OE barrel thingy not very quiet, I did a slight mod by adding a section of 1 1/2 " heat shrink to close up the holes and hold more sound back, makes it just slightly quieter, good enough for back roads not so much for back yards. Other than that the lever cycles nicely never had a failure to cycle.

I'd like to get a couple; His-n-Hers, both in .177 or .22.  I figure any LDC will be an improvement over stock, though my Shin Sung 9mm runs uncorked.  And honestly, the Vectis scratches a lot of the right itches.

 I was amazed on how well I liked the open sights, I did scope it to check for accuracy, then red dot , now back to the opens with a small Olight on the rail to light the way and the front sight in the night.

I own a Vectis.
Modified it to make it better. Right out of the box it is a typical Hatsan. &^^&.

You must polish everything for a smoother operation.

Not regulated so a terrible shooting curve.

I made a topic on a Dutch forum, but somehow I am not allowed to put a link here.

It is loud. Cut off where you have to, to expose the 1/2"x20 threads, and get a moderator. Then it's awesome.

Other than that, it has been a great gun for me. Very accrate. I have a .177 and it shoots a 3/4" group at 75y with 12.5gr NSA slugs going 880fps, 950fps w/10.5gr CPD, and 850fps w/ 13.42gr JSB mrd. All shoot great for two mags with a 2600psi fill. I paid only $225 for a refurb and it is definately worth it. I have not had a problem with it and it's been years. I use it for Starlings because I don't like to shoot up with bigger calibers.
