Isn't it possible to de-cock a 97k? I can do it with my LGV: hold the barrel in open-breech position, release safety and pull the trigger- but make sure you hold the @#$%$ barrel when you are doing this! with a very firm grip! with the 97kt obviously you'd need to keep a grip on the cocking lever not the barrel. Seems like a person would want to de-cock the gun if they felt like something went wrong. That way you don't have to dry fire it and risk damage to the piston seal particularly if you thought something fell into the compression chamber. Things happen. You need a way to safely mend the situation. I have a 97kt but don't know it very well because after I got my LGV- I found a lot I liked more than the 97kt. I need to put that 97kt up for sale. Its just not getting used any more.
