You fellows say the Jet is more pistol like than the Notos, how does it feel weight wise? It looks to be mostly plastic so I'm guessing on the lighter side?
Am looking to get a small inexpensive pcp pistol to get my granddaughter into shooting airguns. The lighter the pistol the better in her case.

Mine weighs a touch over 3lbs with the red dot I have on it. It'll probably still come in under 5 when I'm done with it. It's a solid feeling little carbine even with all plastic.

Can you tell me what the LOP is at MIN and MAX in carbine mode please?

If you try the valve mods. Changing the washer/metering ring diameter will raise or lower the velocity of the string, but the shot to shot consistency will stay about the same. The gun uses a free flight hammer for a de-bouncer, there's about 1/8" of free flight.

I misspoke when I told Edin Ga that he needed to slow down the shot cycle to get good shot to shot consistency. The valve mods speed up the shot cycle thus conserving air, by shortening the valve duration.

I'm looking to keep my 22 grain wadcutters around 500 fps. If I can get it to that point and it's wasting air, I'll definitely look into the valve mods.

An issue I'm seeing trying to tune the Jet, is that the hammer travel is not consistent in the OEM free flight configuration. I'll shoot a string in the 590's, refill the gun and it shoots a string in the 640's, refill, back to the 590's total craziness. This has been a problem from day one. Now I put in a regular hammer spring with preload, the cocking force is a little less then with the stock spring. I'll see how it goes.

The poppet broke on my .25 yesterday. I guess the hammer spring was too stiff with the 800 psi regulator. I sent a message to Hatsan USA so hopefully I'll be able to purchase another one from them. I'm going to trim the hammer spring or try and find a weaker one before I put it back together.

A few other posters had there poppet break. I made a new stem the same diameter (.147) as the hole that it slides through. The OEM stem being smaller than the hole (.090) can get knocked sideways (the path of least resistance) which might be the cause.

I would much rather have one that's the correct diameter instead of having that stupid o-ring groove. Do you know of anyone that would make one to sell?

 Sleeve the back of the OEM stem by making a piece of brass tubing a slip fit on the stem, glue the tube on the stem, and turn the outside to .147 Making the stem from scratch is an all day ORDEAL. Then a poppet and new seat have to be made.

No,  I misspoke, The back of the stem is .140 in diameter  a sleeve won't work. Turning one from scratch is an alternative, then it would have to be hardened and annealed.

I talked to a buddy of mine that has a lathe and he said it would take several hours to make one. I'm not going to ask him to do that for what I'd be willing to pay, so I'll take some steps to keep it from happening again. I'm only looking for 10 to 12 fpe so it shouldn't be too hard to do.

James, I think the simplest solution is machining the valve like u did so its one consistent hole where the valve stem passes through

I just got the invoice from Hatsan. $15 for the poppet and $9.00 shipping on something that weighs a couple of ounces. I think I'll just toss the whole thing in the trash be done with it. There's a good chance it will break again anyway.

It weighs less than an ounce.. Anyway , will a crosman 1377 poppet cover the throat , i dont have mine apart but switching over to a 1 dollar poppet like that would be nice for the longer term./
Another idea is to ream the hole in the back of the valve to 4mm, then use the crosman 2240 poppet which will work perfect on your 800 psi reg // 4mm reamer is about 8 dollars on amazon , and a 2240 poppet is about 6 from crosman

I just remembered that I have a 2250 valve at home. I'll pull the poppet and give it a try.
