Thank you for all the replies everyone,  I ordered a new cocking rod, after talking with Roadworthy I'm going to give the barrel a good cleaning and see where it's at before I tear up down. I took the fellows word that it was weak, but a few shots across the chrony will tell the tale. Then if needed I will order the arh kit, if not I'll put it off for a later project

Got the new cocking rod in today, installing was easy enough. Tank you for the tips Roadworthy! Only had time to shoot for a few minutes but with 5 shots across the chrono first one was 848 next 4 was between 828 and 831.
Seems pretty consistent,  obviously it's lost power as it's pushing 14.6fpe.

FPE will vary with pellet. Try different weight and brands. My 52 has a little milder ARH spring in it with stock seal and makes 14-16 FPE. That’s actually a really nice power output for these guns. If the spring and seal look good and it’s running in that range I’d leave it.

My 48/52 gets the most fpe with the lighter pellets. Mines a.177 and I shoot hn ftt pellets out of it.

Mine makes 16 FPE with the FTT. But, they’re also coming out at 900+ FPS and that’s a bit much for Diablo pellet. Little over 14 FPE with Baracudas but better groups.

At my 5270 foot elevation mine are just over 900 but I also have a vortex kit in it that's made for the to6 trigger so the spring is almost in coil bind even without the top hat.

I'm trying to find where my son put my pull through bore snake and I will try it out for accuracy. I'll get in more numbers while doing so. If it is accurate and consistent the power level is fine for my needs
