Hatsan 125 parts

Has anyone got the specs. on the following Hatsan 125 parts so I can buy them at the hardware store, since Hatsan won't sell them to me. Barrel pivot locking screw (PN511) and the trigger assembly 110 spring. Thanks

Did they give a reason WHY they won't sell you a stinkin' locking screw? I can understand not wanting to provide any TRIGGER parts, but a simple screw?

I need to pay more attention to reading emails, my mistake. I can buy the screw, not the spring which is still useable. The trigger still works fine, with one coil slightly bent on the spring, I stripped the screw and left it in place until I get a replacement. Spring looked fine, lubed it and put back together, just couldn't check the piston seal due to stripping the screw. Breech seal was fine. Gun shoots at 24 fpe, which isn't bad. I was expecting another 3 or 4 more fpe though. I only live at 400 feet elevation. Since the gun only cost me $19 from Walmart due the condition it arrived in (they only charged me the tax), I really can't complain. Thanks for replying.

Good deal on a rifle that usually starts at $125 for a refurb. What caliber? Coil spring or Vortex air spring model?

The 177 bore does not really allow this powerplant to fully "breathe" so I haven't been able to get my Mod125 177 to shoot over ~27 fpe. Larger calibers should be able to hit or exceed 30 fpe IF everything else is in good condition. Even on NEW rifles Hatsan piston seals can arrive damaged (from rushed factory assembly?). It happens.  Had a few bad piston seals on refurbs as well. That "could" explain low muzzle energy. Leaky breech seal, weak (heavily used/abused) coil spring, and/or leaky Vortex air spring can also cause low numbers.

For future reference all the Hatsan fasteners are mild steel and the heads will be easily damaged if the driver does not fit PERFECTLY. I have custom ground a set of screw drivers specifically for working on my Hatsan rifles and have never damaged one of those fasteners. Most of my Hatsan rifle are refurbs so almost all the heads have SOME damage as received. Apparently many customers and even some Hatsan technicians don't know how to properly select the right tools :-(

I'll try to measure one of my lock screws. Just a GUESS but I think it may be something like an M3x3mm Cheese Head screw.
If only "longer" screws are available at your hardware store they can be cut or ground shorter to properly fit. Head diameter, as it fits into pivot bolt "scallops", can be reduced if replacement isn't exactly the same as factory screw.
