I bought one from "darabe_25" on ebay. It came out to just shy of $45 shipped. He doesn't have any available now but you can contact him and see.

Went back and sent him a message asking if he will have any soon.

I just got home and found his reply. He doesn't have any in stock and it will be a while before he will have them. He is having hip surgery tomorrow. He told me the last 24 he had were bought by Rick Willneker and Mike Baker. Hope that helps you.

The gun has the pellet in the chamber indicator, there's a sharp edge on the indicator that damages pellets. If you reshape the flat sharp edge on the indicator to a rounded dome shape, pellet group size will be smaller by half.

 I need help. This is the second time i've resealed.   First time was just orings I had on hand, using the same stem.
 Leaks out the barrel . Cock the hammer and pull the trigger it lets out a BRRRAAAPPP! couple tries and gas is gone.
 Now have a new seal kit from "Henry Ford" (ebay) that contains a new spring, stem, orings,even oil. All new.
 Very careful cleaning and putting together.
     SAME THING!  BNRRRAAAPPP!!

 Got it figured out! it's just that new stem needs to break in to seal tight.   Put a mag of pellets through it. then started hissing a bit again.

 Kick the can with the Crosman 400 and one mag of  Daisy wads.

Whoa, never noticed it. so its held there by a set screw... that little pin sticks out when the chamber is loaded? 
  Never mentioned in my downloaded manual.
 I will have to watch next time!

This is the latest email from the gent selling the Cr400 magazines "I am going to make more 600 feedcams, 760 bolt handles, 1400 lever safeties and 600 rear sights after I recover. Probably will make another batch of 400 mags Middle of next year. I sold 31 last year & 24 this year!"

     How does this indicator come apart;  I backed the screw all the way out thinking that pin would be loose and come out.
   Nope.   Wonder if its rusted.  All the schematic shows is the screw... does that barrel the pin slides in come off too?

Yes you're only supposed to back out the tiny grub screw to remove the indicator. I suggest to apply liberally penetrating oil and let it work for a few hours. Then use an aluminum soda can shim wrapped around the indicator housing, and small pliers to gently wiggle it out of position.

Expect to have to replace the gasket and spring too. On my rifle I used a piece of windshield washer hose to make a new gasket, and a piece of a pen spring, that did the trick very well. Don’t forget to clean up all existing rust, and to polish the end of the indicator rod.  HTH.

I had no idea!  Schematic shows nothing but the screw that holds it in place.
 Jeeze,yet another spring and seal.... lol


I am back .   Sucessfully got it removed, cleaned up, resealed and reinstalled.

Again my downloaded manual makes no mention of it, and the schematic shows the screw that holds it, but not the indicator itself.
       James, I had no sharp edges to deal with!
    Francios,       I just happened to have some windsheild washer/ or vacume hose, and that's what I used as well!
   One that came off flat and brittle.

 Yep,come to think of it ,Scott,(Hoosier Daddy)  provided it to me.

My rifle still chatters like an auto when I pull the trigger. 
Hoping that seals good pretty soon.
