My scoped Beeman R7

A couple of days ago I expressed my love for my beautiful HW50S.  She is not the only inanimate love in my life.  This morning, I took my even more beautiful R7 out to the patio for a few.  After some resighting and warmup shots, I went after some 30-yard targets.  She put 4 of 5 in a single hole. One of the 5 was down and right about a 1/2" from the other four.  As I've said before, If I was allowed to keep only one, the R7 would be the keeper.

Let's talk about MY Beeman R7.  I don't recall which vendor I purchased her from; however, IIRC, she was purchased while we were in NW Montana and that ended 8 years ago this September.  My R7 has no open sights, nor a place for them, furthermore, her barrel, including the brake, is about 2"shorter than the barrels on my HW30's.  Has anyone else seen this version of a Beeman R7?

Post pictures please!!!! I believe your R7 was originally intended as a scope only carbine version gun,.. or a model that was supposed to be sold as a rifle scope combo. Makes no difference at this point. I much prefer the 30/R7 series over the HW50 platform. Not bashing the 50, just my personal preference. The 30/R7 rifles balance and shoulder so nicely that I truly is a hard air rifle to put down. Is your R7 in a grey lami stock? I would love to get ahold of one with the grey lami stock with the brushed nickel finish. My HW 30 is in .20 and it is a splendid rifle to shoot,.......so much I placed an order for a new one in .177 at aoa! Now I feel like a kid waiting on Santa Claus!!!! Of all the Weihrauchs I own, like you, these less powerful rifles would be on my last to part with rifles, it would be a toss up with the 30 and 35.

I like the original R7 stocks. Had this one over 35 years. The sunlight really lights up the quarter sawn beech.


I also have another later Huntington beach R7

As well as an HW30 with an early R7 stock.
I don't own any that came with a scope and brake. I think the early combos came with Bushnell scopes.
It's nearly impossible to get the pictures right on this forum. I give up.

Ok, now I know. That R7 is an Elite Series. Came with a scope, shorter barrel, muzzle brake, and no sights. Elite Series.

I have an R7 in that configuration but with a gold trigger. I purchased it new and it came equipped with UTG rings but no scope. Looks like you have the same rings.

I had the exact same one years ago. It came with the muzzle brake, no sights and no tell-tale holes where the rear sight would have been.   I think I got it from StraightShooters back around 2004 and it was a very sweet (if expensive) setup with a Leupold 3-9 EFR scope. I did remove keep the nice R7 stock for my HW30 .22

Fantastic rifles! Have both an R7 and HW30 in completely different trim. R7 with Paul Watts shrouded barrel/bits and ARH/Maccari internals. The HW30 with a Vortek PG4 HO kit, Corcorran Claro walnut stock with Rowan trigger and guard with a Spiral Groove muzzle brake. Both an absolute pleasure to shoot and more accurate than I am!

Thank you Oldgringo! They are just great rifles. When they are pretty, it's a bonus! Beyond cosmetics, the Corcorran stock is just wonderfully shaped and balanced. It's the icing on the cake!

Hey, Yogi....      Surely more expensive than I would have liked. I probably picked a higher scale wood blank than needed, but I went for it. I found no one else making premium stocks for the little rifle so options were limited and this one is a keeper! Might look better on that R7 with the Watts shrouded barrel though?
