Shot 6 Tree Rats with the .25 Avenger with JSB MKll's, found 4 and 2 fell into the thicket of Thorns, clean up crew is gonna eat good tonight....

 I got out yesterday afternoon for a few hrs. Driving through the farm I spotted a G-hog in an alfalfa field about 250yrds off. I continued on to a spot along the corn where I could park out of the way and grabbed the Stoeger Ranger (.22) . I was able to use the rolling terrain and close the distance to about 35yrds. The alfalfa is tall enough now to just about conceal a prone hog, so it never saw or heard me as the wind was gusting pretty hard also. I got a shot at the back of it's head as it was looking away & nailed it DRT. I carried it to a spot w/ good visibility for the "cleanup" crew. That makes 76 G-hogs w/ air this season. I walked back to the Toyota and proceeded to the next farm where I popped a couple pigeons off the old silo. I'm very pleased w/ the Stoeger , the factory tune gives 18gr pellets 900+ fps and great accuracy to
60+ yrds. Later I hit another farm where I was able to take several starlings. My wife had an HOA meeting in the evening so I went out to harass some rats. I managed to get six , but missed as many!

Well, if you ate them you could've easily washed em down with a glass of water

This is true...
Even ferrel cats are considered domestic. Please refrain from posting about the dispatching of them.

BTW..... I just talked to my next door neighbor yesterday and he told me he has been seeing Hog tracks in the Creek bed behind our properties....  oh yeah.... I'm going to setup some motion sensors and game cams to find out if they are still using the creek as a highway to the golf course, then I will set up a blind and do some night time Hog Sniping, I may put some corn down there too to help bring them in....

Ive been meaning to reduce the squirrel numbers around property. This year is the very time they've attacked my Halloween pumpkins at the front entryway. They burrow a large hole to get inside to get at the seeds.
Had a little down time to I armed myself with the Notos and did a perimeter walk of the back property. Spotted a red on one of the large oak, and sent a CPHP into its skull. A loud smack as the pellet made contact, and the red hung onto the bark for about 7 seconds before giving into gravity.
After the shot, I'd spotted a gray about 15yd away, but it was waiting around for me to reload.

 Dinh nice shooting with that Notos! I  have the same problem with deer in the pumpkins, then the squirrels follow up, Have not sen as much woocuck damage this year for some reason

I love the Notos! Still debating whether or not to keep that lpvo scope or go back to the small 3x AIM scope. The lpvo is significantly heavier, but has clearer glasses and is 6x.

Thanks, James! They were very busy today when I got home from work. Probably getting all their provisions in order for winter. We have a bumper crop of acorns around my property, so they should do well this coming winter.

 Went out yesterday , in the morning I took the Stoeger Ranger to farm #3 for pigeons. I took five shots & dropped five birds off the silo. Later in the afternoon
 I brought out the AirMaks Katran for a single bird . Both guns were shooting JTS pellets at 50+ yrds.
