Well I have one for the list, I did catch a doe yesterday with my Pile-driver  65 yard shot, cut off the gas line and deflated the air cleaner

The gun is too long and the forend too skinny on the standard Condor (24" barrel).  I have a 12" baffled shroud/moderator on it so mine is almost 51" long!  It needs an aftermarket stock with a heaftier forend to improve off-hand shooting like I have on 1 of my .25 Condors, but even then I would pick a few others guns in my arsenal for offhand shooting before that Condor.  But leaning up against a tree with the aftermarket forend & grip on it, it's not too bad.  Still it would be far from my 1st choice for walking through the woods with it.  I tried it and it wasn't fun, even when I was warned not to take the Condor with me into the woods.  It was actually the first time I ever missed a squirrel while doing just that, when the gun is a tack driver shooting from a rest or bipod.  The Condor shoots best from the prone position w/bipod, from a blind, or any rest, or sniping position.

The memsahib and I were taking our evening constitutional cruising the neighborhood in our antique Snapper Grounds Cruiser with the whole pack of dogs in the back when I spotted a very young Cotton Mouth wriggling across the road.  The first live moccasin I've seen near the house in over two years.  Not for long!

I aimed for it doing about ten miles per hour and when I judged it was well under the wheels I stomped the brakes.

 Nick was itching to show me what his bottled Chaser build was doing since I last saw it, what better way than a run through the squirrel woods. I only had my Recluse with me today incase I saw a small deer yet before antlerless season ends.
 Well squirrels were squirrely and did not give us any shots but were fun to watch LOL, after a bit we moved deeper into the woods and the next stop was Nicks opportunity to take this big fatty Fox with 25 fpe and a Gamo Blue Bomber pellet at 30 yards, DRT before it let go, the earth shook when hit hit the muddy forest floor.

I sent an Armadillo “across the river” last night. It is in a better place now.

Small game hunting ended here on the second of March but spring turkey season opens the fifth.

So the seasons are changing.  I’m switching from hunting to pesting with an NVD.

During open season squirrels, rabbits, and feral hogs are considered “game animals”. Once the season closes they are back to being varmints and can be taken at night with lights or NVD.  Go figure.

  Carter, pretty much the same here for hunting regs and N/V, my spring turkey permit is for the 2nd week of May, there may be some pesting until then LOL

Sam I bet it's likely because FL wants to make extra $ requiring hunters to get permits to kill hog "game" as they'd make less $ for the state leaving hogs classified as pests year round, plus I suspect wardens make more $ for their dept during season catching people killing hogs without permits. At least TX got it right with hogs being considered pests year round. I could go on a long time saying what all TX is doing wrong but that's whole 'nother story for whole 'nother forum.

Ive had insomnia for the month or two and it’s getting worse.  Two nights ago I heard a rat on our laundry porch about 0200.
I took a look with a flashlight and I spotted the rodent behind the washer trying to chew a hole into the pantry.  Too tight for a shot so I put out a trap.  No joy so I pulled the appliances out from the wall about 8” to give me an aisle to shot down yesterday.  Early this a.m I heard it out there in the same spot.  This time I was ready with a Crosman piranha loaded in the sawed off Fire.  I had left the porch door ajar so I toed the door open and swung around the corner thumbing the light on in best tacticool style.  No rat.  Back to the recliner.  20 minutes later I heard it again.  Back through the door again.  No rat again.  But I noticed that the 4’ length of 4” PVC pipe we use for an extension to the dryer vent was dislodged and lying on the floor.  The tactical light revealed the bright glint of rodent eyes inside.  I took my time and the 14.3gr hollowpoint  traversed the full length of rat and pipe to bury itself in a 2X4.
Since  it was in the fifties and my pesting attire consisted of a head lamp and my tighty whities I left it there.  I kinda forgot about it what with having surgery today.  I just remembered it and asked the spouse to check it.  She was actually quite pleased and said the pipe made it easy to dispose of.

1. Do you take cbd oil or gummies to help with sleep? I do and it works for me like a lot of other people. I use cbd from sunsoil.com.

2. Do you take Selenium at night? That helps too.

I have several CBD products that I use.  I have a couple different gummies, some oils, and chewing gum.  I don’t use Selenium but medical marijuana is a scam legal in Florida and I have gummies of that too.
