Daisy 880 Forearm Shape Preference

Almost all  880s have forearms that are fairly thin,at least as compared to the wood forearms on the 822.
Some older plastic forearms, like on the 922 are akin to the 822 wood: thin at the top and thicker at the bottom.

I am curious as to which shape is preferred by 880 shooters.........

Wood forearms can be made either way, or a different shape ?

Something with an adjustable cheek weld comparable to a Benjamin Marauder for lefties which I am not, but you have to think of them since the present stock is only for a right-hander.
