Cartoonist for Mad Magazine. Started doing cartoons in 1942, retired from cartoons in 2020. I grew up on Mad Magazine, Spy vs Spy.........all those little cartoons on the margins, the hidden corners, that was Al Jaffee.

He is the truest form of cartoonist that help educate several generations of readers of all forms of cartoon humor. Before everyone became so thin skinned and knew how to laugh at themselves. Young people today look at cartoon art as something created by a computer and played in a video game. If it's drawn by hand with ink and paper they rate it right there with cave drawings.
