Just curious as to what people hope to achieve this year in N.U.A.H.

Unfortunately this year I won't be able to shoot nearly as often, but when I do get out I'll have access to several hundred yards of safe shooting distance. Hopefully I can at least make "member" at 200+ using small bores. Had hopes to get a big bore, but not looking like this year. For smiles and grins I might even lob some pellets out to 200y from the Diana 54 to see if I can even get on paper...

I mostly shoot at home and I can't manage much over 100 yards here, so I'm going to focus on improving my 100 yard score. Hopefully I can find time when the wind and rain cooperate while I'm not at work.

Hope to have the stars align so I have time in perfect weather to shoot a target, and hope to have an official target along to shoot it at

For this year I hope to do some .257 testing.... If I happen to qualify as a Master at the same time, it would be great!....

The Maverick showed real promise yesterday on steel at 100y but there is still a couple feet of snow on the ground so walking out to put up targets is going to have to wait a bit yet.

I would like all 5 shots MOA and perhaps get 3 on the 1" circle by fall. This is with the .22 barrel.

Once I figure out tuning, I'll move on to the .25 barrel and I will try for 5 shots in the 1" ring.

The .30 barrel is for yotes, more to come on that.

Dreamline Lite .30 is showing REAL good promise for going out to 130 yards.
The NSA 47.2 slugs working fantasic so far.

That's a great question, I honestly don't have an answer. Guess it depends, if you can get at least 5 shots with consistent velocity (possibly tethered?) and match the projectiles used to the bore, you should be good to go. The biggest hurdle after that is getting enough scope adjustment for the distance you plan to shoot and hope the winds play nice.

I have the NSA 49.5gr slugs for my Mav, the previous owner told me they shoot very well and I was able to pile them up on the 100y target but I want to follow your footsteps and try for 150 as well!

My buddy and I made a 100 yd range setup on his property and have shot a couple times.

The Akela .177 with NSA 12.5 slugs was grouping at 3 inches at 100 yds shooting prone, which I never do otherwise and so was unpracticed. That was my first time shooting it at 100 so with some practice, there is hope. A bench will help.

I am tuning a .177 avenger wood to 950 fps with 16.1 gr Seneca pellets. These pellets were great out of the Akela out to 75 yds, but fell apart at 100. So odds are against this working. But hey, gonna try with the avenger at 32 fpe in .177 and see what happens, weather permitting, in a couple weeks when I'm at my buddy's for turkey season here in PA.

Have you tried the 10.3 JSB Knockouts? They're shooting great for me at 100 yards running around 980.

Matt and I walked my available range. We are already planning 200 yards.
It's not a flat plain area so targets need put up in some trees.
Like 8 foot or so up!
That would put them in view. Roughly at ground level as viewed from our shooting position.
