Maurauder Valve Stem

Other than the color, is there a difference between the valve stem in a Marauder and one from a Crosman 2100?
Maybe the mod 66...can't be sure on stem length..
Anyway, assuming dimensional interchangeability, can one be replaced buy the other??

Marauder poppet is harder material and can be opened easier than the MSP poppet. I have used the Marauder poppet in MSP application but NOT the other way around. Might work in a pinch but durability and performance will suffer IMO.

I have serviced 1 Marauder in which the stem had disintegrated.........
I think I have another coming in next week.
Was hoping that I could sub a 2100 stem into the Mrod...

I know for a while the MP stems were a black material...now back to white.........I wonder...

I know for a fact that the 2100/AM77 and 66 poppet steel stem is 1/8'' OD, and I believe the Marauder is 5/32'', like the 2240. You may need to do some custom work to interchange them.

In my last parts order from Crosman P/N 1700-140 had a black poppet. That was late December.

Of all the 1700-140 stems I’ve measured they are a very consistent .1245

The 760-145 stems vary .123 - .1235

Head diameters are slightly different too but will interchange
