I'm looking to buy the Diana 48 but I found a Diana 350 Feuerkraft pro, both new. Which is the better of the two or should I just toss a coin?

Based on what I've been told, go for the 48. If you absolutely want a 350, I found what seems to be a pretty good deal on one, so let me know.

I take it there were other people pondering the same question, I like that the 48 comes with a lifetime warranty now that's hard to ignore. Thanks for your response, the 48 is going for $370 I thought it was a little odd that the Feuerkraft pro .22 is currently selling for $358.40 with the scope and mount, and the 48 is open sights.

48 hands down. Fixed barrel accuracy.

Personally, I'd still go for the 48, open sights or not. In reality, I'd be looking for a used older model, because I like a gun already broken in, and I generally have more faith in the quality of older guns, but that's just me.

I would go for the 48 if you can get just one....but the real question IS

I can without a moments hesitation honestly declare that NO I can't possibly get just one! After careful consideration, I've gone into my checkbook and tweaked the numbers just a bit, besides I'm sure the better half won't mind (looking around) why do I feel so guilty all of a sudden (grin) I feel it is a very good investment, I really do.

The 48 is just about as powerful as the 350 and has a much smoother shot cycle 10x easier to shoot more accurately than a 350 and as Dustin said you have that fixed barrel accuracy! these guns really shine in .22cal I've had several of these rifles in all calibers even a .20cal which is the best for this rifle but their very hard to find! the .22cal kicks but in this rifle I've shot many wabbits with one at over a 100yds right thru the noggin! The 350's have very nasty recoil and are very hard to master I know you guy's love them but personally like a rifle that has smooth power not one I have to struggle with to shoot due to jackhammer like recoil JMHO

i have a model48 and a 350, the 48 is easier to shoot and almost as powerful. the 48 is also easier to sling if you are going to hunt. also from a rest at 35 yards i can usually cover my groups with a penny

I have my old Diana 34 in .177 ( ah the fond memories there) I just plum wore the old girl out, she's too pooped to pop, so I thought! But after I introduced myself in the New Members Forum, a new friend Jonnnyboy gave me advice about fixing the old girl up, I acquired some information about a man in pa that does a fabulous tune job on them too. Oh and the new Diana 48 is on the way thanks to the advice of my new friends of GTA. THANKS

I like and I have both. They are both quite accurate and powerful...hunting machines....tune them correctly.......shouldn't be much difference...The 350 is post John in PA tune with Vortek and CCC, the 48 22 t06 was untuned with CPHP tin...in preparation for a full tune/vortek from John in PA

One of these days Ill have a decent collection of shooters like yours, right at the moment I'm relying on my Benjamin Titan to fill the pot. Surprisingly it does this quite well for a cheap air rifle. Five days to go and the 48 will be here. Can't wait!! can't wait!!!

That's funny my UPS driver is a regular around here. I break my Polaris he brings me parts, great relationship. If I have a high priority part he delivers it before going to lunch. Not many would do that!
