Sure, Drew, but could you be more specific?

I know you've got a boatload of files, now, so I'm not sure how you share without it being a pain. I'm looking to experiment with an S510, an Ataman, a Prod, and a 2289 (.22's and a .177, respectively).

EDIT: Many of the STLs I have generated
require the part to be rotated in the slicer
. The threaded ends of the moderator must face up, away from the printer platen; else the print will fail, with spaghetti lying in a heap inside. The reason is that the internal cones are self supporting
only when printed in the correct orientation
. Cones need to start with printing the wide end (at the bottom), and finish with the small end. See images of muzzle brake and LDC in the correct print orientation, attached below.
Drew,
These forum threads have some print files attached that should be of some interest:
More replies have files, other than the first post:

Notos inspired 1/2-20 mod:

More as you go down into the thread.
If there is interest in these very recent GK1 mods I can provide the files. Unfortunately they are well over the forum size limit, so file transfer has to be done by other means:
I have hundreds of designs, of which perhaps half may be of interest. Browsing through them is likely to take longer than doing a new design
I vaguely remember a
PRod design
. Found two files; attached them to this reply...

That all makes sense... Thank you so much!
I'll dive in to the other threads.
It blows my mind, what these printers can do. My son printed a nut and bolt when he first got his printer: They didn't bind, nor was there any slop. Absolute insanity.

Yes, Drew, but I think the Bambu labs printers are some of the most sophisticated ones, with very smart software when it comes to part fit.
Speaking of threads, when printed on "regular" molten filament printers, many of my designs would need the thread to be chased with a tap before they can be used. I actually generate the threads manually, by designing the thread form and extruding it along a spiral of the correct diameter and pitch. My basic Solidworks license does not include a library of threads that you can call up and ally. So, I always ad compensation for material shrinkage and hole shrinkage, but it does not suit all materials and printers, modes and settings. Designing threads that are finer than 1 mm pitch is very tricky, while a 1.5 mm pitch and courser is very easy.
I want to revise my estimate of how many of my files would be potentially interesting: Many of my projects require more than one iteration, but I have not deleted the earlier versions. Some require five or more versions before the customer is satisfied. So apart from what airguns you have diving your potential interest, I need to delete the junk designs and tally them up. Still hundreds of them, but probably not a thousand
I get new ideas when asked to design custom mods, then I think of ways to extend the ideas. The ideas may be nonsense, but I often design parts anyway to see if I am dealing with the equivalent of an
Escher sketch
. If not, I then try to talk someone into printing and testing the design. The two GK1 mods shown in the image above use conventional baffle design, and something experimental. The experimental one has full length resonance chambers in the lower "tube" of that mod; for each air stripper cone. The question is if that mod has a lower tone than the conventional control? The feedback I have so far as that both work well for 4" long mods. So, perhaps this is an instance of a clever idea that did not pan out, but that is not worse than a less complicated design. I am hoping for more testers to see if they reach the same conclusion...
