I still cant believe it .     Not a one ragged hole, but one near clean hole..   ya that's a dumb luck thing if i ever knew one. Never happen again.

All you need to do is do exactly what you did to shoot that kind of group, and keep your follow thru after the impact of the pellet! Follow thru is an important key to accuracy I think a lot of people over look! I taught a friend to shoot springers, He shot PB's his whole life, when he first started shooting springers every time he pulled the trigger he immediately jerked his head up to see where he hit the target, I told him you cannot do that shooting a spring gun! it will kill your accuracy!

Reminds me of one time back in my college days.  I had a Winchester Model 70 featherweight, 30-06, with a 4x Leupold scope in a Weaver pivot mount.  I set things up fired one shot at a 100 yard target, the range provided 50 yard pistol targets for everything.  I centered the x in the bullseye with that first shot. My eyes were better back then, probably about 1965-66, and I could barely see the hole with my scope so looked through the range spotting scope.  Laid my rifle down, waited until the range was called cold, went down and picked up my target, came back, and started packing everything up,  Some other guys, most old enough to be my father came over and asked if anything was wrong, I said no, and nodded toward the target, and they shook their heads and said"can't improve on that"
