Anyone Have A Cometa 220?

I am interested to hear about the Cometa 220.

I've read UK reviews, but I'd like to hear what real owners think.

I've read the Cometa 220 is the same gun as  RWS 92 and to me the 220 looks identical to my two Crosman 3100's. I like'em alot. The trigger is not magic but it's pretty good. I have vintage Weaver 2x20 D6 and B4 scopes on them. They're keepers.

I have one, is quite nice rifle.  More powerful than an HW30s but a little heavier.  Lighter than an HW50s and less power.  Basically it is in between those two models, which I also own.

Mine is quite accurate.  Shoots most pellets well. JSB Exact RS are about 720 fps in this rifle.  Crosman Premier Hollow Points are about 690 fps but it fits kind of tight in the barrel.  It is basically an 8 FPE rifle in .177 caliber.

I have mine set up with a Leapers bugbuster 3-12x32 scope. 

Here is a picture of the hw30s with the Cometa 220, wearing a 1-5x24 scope.  I have since changed it to a 12x scope, so that I can shoot a longer distances.

I have an RWS 93. Not sure which Cometa it's is. One of my favorite guns. I have a Williams type Mendoza peep sight on it and a scope on tall see thru rings over it. Fun gun.

the rws 92 is not the crosman 3100... that is a cometa 100.
