I have been reading as much of the forums for awhile and trying to learn what I can. I am a retired sheetmetal worker living on the island of Oahu. Shot a little powder burner maybe thirty or so years ago nothing serious. Slowly got interested in air guns and found what a interesting hobby to tinker with. Even shooting is a real fun challenge.
Have and will be asking some question that may seem a bit crazy. Hope I don't get kicked off the forum. Have appreciated all the patient members who have tried to answer my questions.

Well, aloha to you too.
Glad you're with us and congrats on retirement and picking up the airgun hobby. It's fun and sometimes challenging for sure.
Please post away. Some questions you have will surely have been asked and answered before. And if a search of the forum does not turn up the answer you are looking for, please post and we will try to help. Don't worry about asking the same question and getting booted. Maybe somewhere else but not on GTA. Besides, that is what a forum is all about. And we will ALWAYS have new folks join us, join in the sport and have some of the same questions. That's just the way it is. So ask away and hopefully we can help.

Welcome, Kailua to the GTA. We're glad you decided to check us out and we hope you will join right in. There are a lot of folks here who have traveled the same path as you. Many began with airguns as children, graduated to powder burners for a while and then graduated again (LOL) to adult airguns. So, make yourself at home, ask lots of questions and at some point in the future help someone who maybe is just beginning as well.

Welcome to the GTA Family. Glad you found us and do not hesitate to ask questions as it is the only way to learn something about airguns that you do not know. Also check out the Library as it will have many answers to some of your questions. You can find it by clicking the Library button at the top of the page
