My Falcon hunter has both the Quattro trigger AND the SAS system with the NP conversion. The trigger is as good to me as the TO5. The SAS system I can not comment on. I know the gun is smooth but being a power house and NP I can't tell ya. Completely different feel vs the RWS springer 350 but there again that could be the NP. I have had no issues with the Falcon. Good fun shooting hard hitting accurate gun. My only problem is the Falcon and the 350's are too much gun for the back yard.

My understanding is the the WALTHER is the same gun as the HATSAN. Here is some info. The Walter is a great gun. It's hard to please everone no matter what. As you can tell that there is not a gun out there that someone has not had issues with. Some people like me, may struggle with 1 type of gun or brand and have no problems at all with others. Hope this helps or at least gives some light to the subject. There is no quality control that will pick up every bump in the road when you mass produce. Not to mention the cost factor to fix issues so that is why they developed with in tolerance. This not a perfect world. If I had not invested in my latest new guns I would be on the list for one of the HATSAN'S and not be worried about any of the features. I still might be. Looks like I have a day or 2 to think about it. BEST WISHES!!!
PS: That is not me in the video but very very close.

No problems Whitefang, I'm waiting for 2012 myself. Guess we have time to save out pennies for our HATSAN fund!

I would think that whether or not the SAS works will end up being a rather subjective argument.... In the hands of an experienced springer shooter it may make little difference as he has already perfected the artillery hold and how to vary it for each gun he shoots.... ie he/she LEARNS a gun quickly.... In the hands of a novice, it may well lower the learning curve required to be accurate.... It may also make a difference in how the gun shoots (and even the difference in POI) when on sandbags or a rest compared to offhand.... If 50% of the people who shoot it think it's better and the others don't find any significant difference (and it's not worse).... then I would think it's a successful change.... I would find it hard to believe Hatsan would tool up for such a change if they hadn't done significant testing of the SAS....

Exactly. Subjective. Be careful about throwing percentages out Budd. Too many variables with a new market and new shooters. There might be repercussions. I too, have question about the design to tooling. Considering that the concept isn't new, no other airgun producers use it. Maybe they are onto something. It's just a design...
I am looking forward to their offerings, the "Dominator series" to be specific. But they are not available to anyone, until 2012. And with, or without a SAS, I am more concerned about it's root accuracy, dependability, and efficiency.

KMike everything is subjective with air guns.. There are losers and winners. For example: Gamo.. with capturing a big share of the basic airgun market with just different stock styles. They are greedy too.. Once they found out that by changing the stock styles and increased sales and not to mention the increase in pricing..
They then wanted to cut cost in production by making cheap barrels, then by changing to simple cheap triggers.
And yes airguns are subjective to what airgunners like and dislike. And subjective to their budget. There are many subjectives on this subject.
We are a family unit here Kmike and adults as well. We support each other. We like to discuss our hobbies and sports without criticisms and negativity.
We all are individuals here from all walks of life. We all have our likes and dislikes.
Also we have some of the best knowledgeable members in the airgun industry right here on the GTA. Treat them with respect as you would like for yourself to be treated.

Well spoke!!! I am new to this forum and have to say this is a great resource for the air gun HOBBY. As with life we don't always agree but that is human nature. We don't always heed to what we are told and as in life we have to challenge the fact but only to fine out we are wrong. That is called a learning experience. I get up ever morning hoping that I learn something new everyday. Yes it is great to be right but some HATE to be proved WRONG no matter what the consequences. I have, since I have gotten older had to accept that if you have a better way to do something and it works conform. OLD SCHOOL is not always the best with the changing technology. Cheaper is not always better. USA made is not what it use to be. (SORRY) This is a hobby and it is meant to enjoy just as I see the knowledge of this forum. So forgive me if I step on anyone's toe's or ask dumb questions before I research or think. THANKS FOR ALLOWING ME TO BE PART OF THIS GROUP!!!!

GTA is a great place to learn. For our under 40 age group members, you probably don't remember a time that required trips to libraries, letters (ya, the kind with paper and stamps) to manufacturers and research done by chance and sometimes, a lot of money wasted on silly products. The good o'l days really weren't all that good.
The GTA makes all of that obsolete and the interaction between members is sometimes well, cranky to say the least but... it's a great forum with great admins who show a lot of restraint. A darn sight better than the some of the "primary color" forums that lose members daily.
I love this place, and only my wallet is any worse for the visiting here.
