I was under the impression that they could pretty much drop right on, sometimes needing some sort of shim or something.I ordered one that arrived today and it is really not even close to being compatible. The screw holes are positioned completely different , and the sear seems too far forward or something. Can anyone tell me what version of marauder trigger group I need to be looking for ?Is the factory discovery trigger group metal, or the same plastic one as the 2260 ?

David , yes same plastic.. Id try to do the mrod trigger before spending the 150 on whats basically a cool disco trigger housing.
If yours uses the same trigger group as a Disco, the Mrod 2/Challenger trigger will WORK. l have one on my Fortitude. You may need to do a little tweaking as 7624552 suggested and the trigger slot in the stock will need extended, but it is a great improvement.

Gen 1/Challenger is it. 1763A105 is the part number. The spacer is not necessary. If the sear drags on the hammer after assembly, you can cut one out of a plastic bottle. It needs to be about .030" thick. You may also want the guard and screw. here is the EVP.
$rcher $irguns sells Gen2 MROD/Challenger trigger assemblies.

It has been a while since I ordered, but I copied the P/N straight from the Challenger EVP.I just checked the current EVP and the number is correct.
