Hey guys and gals. My name is Nam and I a new addict to air rifles.
My addiction started earlier this summer when, on a late night trip to wal mart, I bought a Daisy Powerline 880 and a package of 2400 bbs. I didn't even use the scope until after a couple weeks ago when I finished off all but 20-30 bbs I'm saving for some customized pellets. I feel after all those bbs I've gotten pretty proficient with the 880 being able to hit pop cans from 30 yards with the iron sights and shooting off hand.
After I realized I was almost out of bbs I decided to see how well this rifle shoots with pellets...So I bought a tin of Crosman Premier Ultra Magnums at 10.5 grains and installed the crappy stock scope. After sighting the scope in all I can say is WOW!!! I was shocked at the accuracy and consistency of this rifle. And with the ultra magnums I have enough power to take squirrels and rabbits at reasonable distances. The stock scope is quite lame but with it I can get 0.5" groups at 20 yards with a rest.
I really like the trigger on the 880. There is only a 32nd of and inch of play in the trigger and then it breaks clean. This past weekend I bought the Benjamin Titan GP .22 cal from wal mart. Sad to say I don't like the feel of the stock or the grip at all so I'm taking it back and exchanging it for the Crosman Nitro Venom .22 cal. The trigger on the Titan is HORRIBLE. Theres over a half inch of pull before I even get near the point where the trigger breaks.
This AG stuff is gettin so much fun. I love being able to shoot in the my yard. Granted I live in the city but we have 7 acres and some woods.

Well, at least you are honest!! LOL! It doesn't take long to really get addicted to this hobby. Welcome to the GTA, the home of some of the finest people you will ever meet on the internet. Thank you for the warm welcomes...I can't wait to learn all I can about air guns. I like firearms but having a silent (relative to firearms lol) gun I can shoot in my back yard is so much fun.
I hope to get some more nutters this weekend.
