I have asked Baker what the issue is, but they didn't provide any more detail than "It won't work". I even discussed with John (crosman_engineer) and he confirmed there was no trigger change from G1 or the Disco. Maybe the lighter spring cause some issue with it? The trigger in G2 is better, mainly from the softer hammer spring.Yes, the challenger/mrod G1 trigger works with the G2 Fortitude. You will have to use the Challenger trigger guard or make your own. The disco stock will work, along with any of Boyd's inletted for Disco. The crosman part number is 1761-103. Crosman is the best place to try, but you have to call and talk to customer service.
Given a chance to hit the "do over" button I would have to pass on the Fortitude.
Do I want to order the trigger for the gen 1 or gen 2 marauder for a gen 2 fortitude?
Ok. When I Google that part number it comes up as a gen 2 marauder trigger. So I need to find a gen 1 marauder trigger

I really appreciate it. That is exactly why I was asking here Well, google is wrong. 1763 is the gen 1 mrod. Gen 2 specific part numbers would have a 1764. If you get a G2 trigger assy, the mounting screws will not align to the holes on the Fortitude tube, and sear engagement is in the wrong location.
I put the Crosman marauder LW match grade barrel on mine and it shoots great out to 35-40 yards. I lost a little velocity with the barrel swap but that wasn't too big of issue. I was then able to put some extra baffles in and quiet it up even more.
