Here is a photo of the two little brass fittings, I think the one with the little pin on it  might be for plugging up the hose but what is the little pin on it for?

No pic showing, but may it be the bleed screw for releasing pressure before removing the hose from the gun ???

The one with threads is to pump up a bicycle/auto tire. The other is for a basketball/football.

The female threaded fitting looks like a sports-ball needle adapter?? Why they would expect someone to use a 300 bar pump to inflate a 1 bar football is a mystery to me.

The test-plug fitting has that tiny pin protrusion. It could be for cleaning out the small ports on a fill probe??

I'm betting it is just sloppy machining and they didn't finish facing-off that plug end to a proper FLAT surface. May be one reason why the pumps were half the normal price??

You're right.... that is a dead head with sloppy machining. Mine had a much smaller nub.

Marketing ploy to show how versatile it could be. I'm really surprised they didn't think of adding a picture showing that it could also be used to add bubbles to a jacuzzi without having to use electricity.

Heh-thanks-I missed that it would work on bikes-I was thinking it was the screw in side-not the slip in side-Thanks!

dfordead head and a quick connect to 1/8 NPT or BSPP for a fill probe (or maybe you COULD connect to a bike pump??  BSPP does not stand for Bike, Soccer, Pump Part.

Ha Ha , I doubt that cheap threaded adapter is for HPA. I think it's aluminum.

it's .305" x 32tpi - for a schrader valve or inflation needle

I'll try again

the one with a pointy thhing is just a plug you connect on the end of the hose to check if the pump leaks.. As mentioned in earlier post, plug it in and pump until it reaches 2000 psi and check for hissing everywhhere.

My pump leaks-plenty

I pump furiously to get it to maybe 400 psi-then it drops to zero in maybe 2 seconds

Loosen the test  fitting-tiny SSSSS

Best guess where is it leaking-so fast I can't hear a hiss.

I screwed in the hose   gauge  tightened the bleed fitting

Now the actual tubes-the darned wrench was too small-so used my adj wrench-

The instructions mention looking  at  the O-APRONS-taking the tube out-and "checking" the o-ring-for what-too see if it is present??

Now one of the hard white seals was loose in box-I put it in bevel inward-was that correct?

For $21 I fully expect trouble-surprised all you just assembled and it worked

Frankly-the little test plug-really doesn't look like it would fit into that aO-A ring tightly enough to hold much pressure-it is just a slip in fitting-not much pressure required-

does that seal somehow get tightened with pressure-like car piston  rings? Doesn't look very impressive

My hearing-not good and leak too fast-1 second or less 400 psi-0psi

Thanks

Charlie

I bought my second one when they were $40, I took it out of the box and assembled it just to make sure it functioned. Then it went back in the box and hasn't been out since.
The first one has had the gauge and hose robbed off of it.

Mine just showed up.  Crazy that the box opened right up, no tape even.  Gotta make sure you carry it right side up or contents might just fall out!

For $21, I didnít really expect much, but yeah, maybe some tape on the box.

Now for assembly.  Appreciate all the advice and comments here.

Check your CAPOF breech thread.

Rick -not quite sure what a CAP OF breech thread is-

But I did hear hissing leaks-seemingly at both ends of barrel-

I did take barrel out of base-eyed the tiny skinny o-RING-dinky looking but not obviously cut-and the sturdier O-ring at the bottom-same story

I did retighten everything-

Some progress-pumping furiously-maybe 2 pumps per second-the gauge will now get to 950 or so PSI-drop to zero in 2 seconds

before the take apart-retightening-it would only get the 400psi

I might just throw parts at it-one at a time change the 4 rings I can easily access?

Oh what sort of OIL should I slop around-and HOW MUCH??

iS more oil BETTER- I once had a Benjamin pump that required oiling before each shot-until even that did not work-seal became too saturated

So any ideas?

What oil ?

What about just regular MINERAL OIL-drug store stuff-nothing added-seals tolerate petroleum oil-or do they require some super duper silicone based oil?

Any change teflon take on threads would help? Seals are "not good enough" perhaps a little back up-tape-would help?

I have made progress- 950 psi peak vs 400 psi-so guessing I will get it to work-eventually-for $21 I expect to "work"-if I had paid $49-would expect to tinker also

Now if I had paid $150-$300 I would be perturbed-but not surprised- 4500 PSI lotta pressure for mass produced -CHEAP- pumps-

Oh-that darned "needle" stabbed me-finally filed it off

Sorry, that was addressed to Jimbo.

Silicon oil 30W is what is required for these pumps.

RC stores (remote-controlled toy cars) sell them for about $6.

Bought one a week ago.

Try the yellow teflon tape (gas fittings section of the hardwares) in lieu of the white one, as they are thicker and provide more sealing prowess.
