Only time I wear them is to fly drones with an FPV view… That is some crazy fun, especially with the smaller ones that can go into tight spaces.

The original from the day the earth stood still???, or the Army of Darkness version which was way more popular to my generation. But yes I knew them both, (Army of darkness was my fav version)

"The day the Earth stood still"
A humanoid ( Michael Renny ) from a distant planet came to earth, he had a robot named Klaatu. He instructed the robot to destroy planet Earth if he was killed. He gets shot, but changes his mind and tells the robot to not destroy Earth.
Most science fiction before the atomic bomb depicted aliens as evil. Aliens were shown as benevolent saviors after the atomic bomb. Aliens sent to save us from ourselves.
