That's what I told him when I texted him the pictures. He won't see it in person until the 4th of July weekend. His dad is supposed to finish up the south wall and install the doors. He ain't in no hurry because he still has to put tin on 2 walls and hang the doors on his 40 x 40 building at his place in town.
I'm going to see if I can talk Nick into putting a 25yd indoor range in there. I sold him a springer sometime back but he is fascinated with my PCP gun. If he will do it I will donate my Vevor (YH knock off) compressor to the cause. I also have a 4' x 4' metal backstop/trap we can use.
He's in his mid to late 20's and has lots of friends that can be brought into the airgun hobby/sport. They all grew up in this gun friendly environment.

Oh yeah... this thread is about our daily plans... my bad.
well, I got up at 4:30, made coffee, watched the morning news and surfed.
Then I made another K-cup and went to the shop and fired up the stove.
I cut up some boxes that the new microwave came in into target backer sizes. Walmart shipped it double boxed so I got a nice pile of sections from them.
It looks like rain all day so I'll just hang out in the shop.
BTW... the shop is now equipped with running cold water, woodstove, a/c, internet with streaming on 32" tv, another 32" displaying security cams, a full desktop pc, mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven. It's pretty much a sleeping bag short of living space.. I could probably just hang a hammock.

The flu kicked me in the pants.  Was planning on going into work this afternoon.  Well, Mrs P started coming down with it last night and is in the thick of it now.  Sent out a text for someone to cover my shift tonight so I can stay here and tend to her.  We are trying to minimize passing it to the rest of the house.  We have two students and one working then the two youngest.  Don’t want them getting taken out

Good morning I was up at 5:00 a.m.

My plans for today are keep the generator going and wait for the stupid power to come back on, there's no wind now this is getting old.

We are blessed to be far from fires. What doesn't make sense is that the power grid has to still be charged because there are random areas between other areas that are blacked out that still have power. It all appears to be random meter shut offs to me rather than a grid shut off.

Eye's popped open at 4:30.. coffee on and my only plans today are tending to "The Gimp" (AKA: Hoosier Momma). Two words will be said a lot today "Yes Dear".
 We got about 4" of snow overnight so I might load the bait station and have an airgun at the ready for an opportune to bag some more tree rats.

Morning..
I woke up twice during the night and watched 1 quarter of the OSU/Texas game. Finally got up at 4 and watched the 2nd half.
My phone said the the snow would be ending soon..    what snow? We ain't got no snow. I mean, it's cold enough but... NOT.
It will stay pretty cold today so I'll forego messing with the zturn that wouldn't start and hang in the shop with a good fire going. I might crack the shooting window open and send a few downrange but that will be all for outdoor activity. I've been real lucky not to get any bugs for quite some time so there ain't no sense pushing my luck.
Just have a slow laid back weekend. We're expected to have a nice little warm up next week with temps rising into the 60s.

Absolutely the reason for moving here from the frozen North. I would not move back up there for the World despite the snakes and humidity.

We were planning to drive down to Connecticut visit one of our girls.  Wonder wife baked an apple pie to bring along.   This morning it's snowing and wife has a cold so the trip is canceled.   Not sure what to do with that home made apple pie!   Guess I better start eating, don't want it to go bad.

Good Morning, all's well at my house this morning.

 I need to do the roof repairs from the wind damage of a few days ago. It shouldn't take long, it's very minor damage, I already have a couple of bundles of spare shingles, it would be real EASY if I was more flexible, but I'll get it done.
