Good morning gang. Up at exactly 0500. What to do, what to do? It's almost 80° outside and the sun must be sleeping in, it's still very dark.

I need to mow my daughter's yard really bad but I'm suffering from a bout of severe......laziness this morning.

Sam I would have thought there would have been tons of camper dealers closer than Atlanta, hmm?

Anyway I'm headed for thr frig and the coffee pot.

Mom is particular about the exact camper she wants.  The closest dealer that has the one she wants is in Atlanta.  Mom is also 85, wealthy enough to buy whatever she wants, and impatient.
I don’t support this but that woman is a force of nature. Whut momma wants momma gets!

I understand fully, matter of fact, I would be like that if I was wealthy enough. LOL
Oh and just think what airguns I would buy if I was wealthy enough. And I wouldn't be driving a 20 year old vehicle if I was wealthy enough.
I hope she gets exactly what she wants.

Well my laziness and my conscience got in an argument about me fulfilling my obligations.

My conscience won, I just got back from cutting my younger daughter's yard and also my wife's aunt's yard.  I was wet from bow to stern with sweat,  i grabbed a shower and fresh clothes. I trying to reconnect with my lazy side.

Going to pops today to load and cleanup some stuff on the side of his shop.  Gonna play pool.  Probably take the little grill and cook some hotdogs while we are there.  Gonna be a short trip but a good one. 

Mrs. P has pizza dough made already for pizzas tonight.  The girls are going to a play tonight so it will be just me and the fellas.  My short break from surgery is officially over.  I’m working a 32 hour shift starting tomorrow afternoon and I’m already scheduled to work at least 16 every Saturday (Saturdays are my Fridays) until the middle of September.  It’s a good problem to have but I’m burned out on OT and my “to do” list at home is NOT getting any shorter. Waaa waaa waaa! 😩

Wrestled with a Mendoza trigger torsion spring this morning until Betty Lou got motivated enough to follow me to town to park the GMC with a for sale sign in it. After a bite to eat I'll head back out to the shop for round 2.

Today I plan to spend time remembering a Louisiana buddy.
In one of John Wayne's movies, he met an OLD Hispanic man up in the mountains.  They had a brief visit during which John Wayne's character asked the old man what was his age?  The old man answered that he didn't know; but he had outlived all his enemies.  I have often thought about that statement.  I don't think I have any enemies left.  And many of my friends have crossed over.  So, I guess folks would classify me as OLD also.
If you have a friend you have not spoken with in a while, maybe text/call him today.  Tomorrow may be too late!

Mom and the memsahib are safely in Atlanta!  Whew!  I'm batching it tonight (well #1 daughter will still be around but she is going to house sit for mom).  I'm thinking about stopping a Zaxby's and getting a huge cob salad for dinner.  Fire up some seriously antisocial punk rock.  Sixty year old junkies blowing out the amps to "Big Lizard in my back yard".

Just put the gallon of Sailor Jerry's rum on the end table and let the Bachanalia begin!

Had to box up my wife's coffee, coffee grinder, and her french press and mail it to her. She wanted me to overnight it. I went to the PO and found out 2 day was going to be $96!! 4 day was $24 so I went with that. I figured for $96 she could buy everything I was mailing and have a bunch left over.

Good Friday morning..
Woke up just before 4am and couldn't get back to sleep. Got up so I wouldn't toss and turn and wake Betty Lou up. Boss followed me out of the bedroom and took up her spot on the floor at my feet. I put the coffee on and the recorded F1 race from Belgium.
I got a call last evening from a guy interested in the GMC I have parked in town for sale. He said he would call this weekend and take it for a drive. I warned him that the first one to put the cash in my hand would be the new owner.
I have few airgun related things to do today but that's about it. I'm confident that there will be unplanned things to do.

 I left the irrigation on where ever possible in the orchards, the rain did happen not much at home, but reports say about an inch at the orchard, I will be able to turn off the water for the weekend
 I may supplement the water yet in a couple orchards that did not get the full water cycles through the week.
 Really have not shot much at all this week may try and get a 30 yard target submitted this time around, if the 90 degree humidity doesn't take the wind out of my sails

Scrambling around trying get things done outside before the rain moves in this morning. Just finished fogging the yard so I can feed the chickens and not the mosquitoes. Pay some bills, reorganize the computer room again, and little house cleaning.

Got a doctor's appointment in Prescott at 0930 today. Of course there's a 50% chance of rain so if it does truly rain I'm going to have a muddy road to travel home. Oh well, it's been so dry that it will still be welcome. Looks like next week we've got rain lined up most of the week. Don't care cause I have no place I have to go so I can just enjoy the rain.

I've had serious injuries on top of injuries since March 2019.  I feeling like I've made a lot of recovery progress lately and have started exercising again.   I was a gym rat for many decades and I sure missed it.   Feels great, hope I'm done with injuries for awhile.   Increasing upper body strength has always helped my marksmanship in the past so it will be even greater if my shooting improves.   It's amazing how much I've lost in those 5 injured years.  Got a long way to go but it should be great fun.

Getting mentally prepped to spend 32 hours at work.  I took yesterday off to get some things taken care of and see my family before work.  I’m still at home and I already feel,the need for a weekend.  I hate feeling like this…

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday! I was up at 0500, had coffee and visited my chiropractor. One job done and I’m on my second job now. This one is a water leak attributed to the air conditioning. Hopefully, I’ll find the source, fix it and get out of here.

Brett I'm surprised you're even able to go back so soon. I can't imagine trying to do any job with those cuts and insides not healed yet. Don't let an antsy boss mess up your arm for life.

I didn't get posted early so, I am just going to say it's done, and so am I. That 911.7 miles was a long drive by myself. Some areas there are NO radio stations. I am glad that my Dodge Ram's driver seat is the most comfortable place for me to sit. Tuesday night I slept about 4 hours, Wednesday 40 minute nap and Wednesday night 0.0, last night 5 hours. 

 I drove 1824 miles within 44 hours.

I used to love to drive... the farther the better.
Anymore the 44 mile round trip once a month for bulk groceries just wears me out. My knees and hips get sore and stiff.
