Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! Yesterday was a good 12.5 hour workday, I decided to go ahead and do it again. I got up just before 0500 and I’m having my coffee. I need to get Ayrabella on the bus for school and rollout to work immediately following. I’m helping a guy replace an evaporator coil in a 10 ton rooftop package unit. We tore that unit apart already a couple weeks ago and the new coil never showed up. Should be another good day.

Morning... plan for today..
Up at 5:30, made coffee and attended to the dogs.
Next I added the DirectTV app to the TV and began the 5 day trial plan. I cancelled FUBO and the subscription ended today.
My SSA hits my bank account on the 3rd Wed. of the month and I needed the billing cycle to begin on the 25th of each month to work within our budget. It works out pretty good. I added Paramount + for Betty Lou.
We got the package for $50 for the first 3 months then it goes to $80. Paramount + is free for 3 months then goes to $12.
We were paying $85 plus tax ($95) for Fubo and $15 for Paramount + through ROKU.
Reason for the change?  FUBO recently dropped 19 channels in a dispute with the provider and didn't offer any adjustment to the customer. As many as 5 of the dropped channels were among Betty Lou's must have.... mostly her cooking programs.
I still get all the sports, outdoor, travel, history and documentary channels I watch.
We get unlimited DVR and unlimited devices connected within our home network and up to 3 out of network connections.
The first thing we noticed was the picture quality is much better. I don't really know why, maybe wider use of the bandwidth but, it's is markedly better.
The rest of the day will be airgun related.

Good morning, today is work on chicken pens fix the storm damaged ones and start building new pens for the latest additions. Later on break out the tiller and till up places to plant peanuts and flowers. Some time this week make up some dirt for the bigger nursery pots to put sweet potatoes in.

Good morning, well afternoon now actually for me. Up at 05:30, surf, breakfast, coffee, then out to put my zero turn back together. A couple of weeks ago the blade belt broke, I picked one up at Tractor Supply put it on $94. Then the belt tensioner spring broke picked one up at the small engine repair shop, $18 and put it back on. Then last week the pump belt tensioner pulley arm broke. I had my son (welder/fabricator) make a replacement. When that tensioner arm broke the spinning pulley cut the pump belt. Ordered belt $25 and it came Sunday. So I put all back together this morning. Finished at 09:15.

That's what I was thinking.

I bought my BAD BOY ZT 60" 27 hp zero turn 14 years ago. It has been almost maintenance free up till these little mishaps. Well except for oil and filters, blades, batteries and belts which I view as consumables. Thinking back I did replace the bearings and seals on the spindles a couple of years ago.

It has been the best mower I've ever owned. I cut my yard anywhere from 5 to 7 acres and also my daughter's in town, and this year I'm cutting my wife's aunt's yard pro bono as well.

So far today I have just been goofing off watch YouTube videos, but I mowed about an hour and a half yesterday afternoon and plan on doing more of it as soon as the wind picks up a little. We are supposed to have 8-10 mph winds by 3:00 PM. It is very dry and dusty here now so it helps to have the wind to be able to stay out of the dust that the mowing kicks up. I will still wear a dust mask and goggles just to make sure not to breath it or get eyes full if the wind shifts.

  The weeds need to be scalped down to the dirt now that green season is over. I miss the green already but after I get the mowing done this time I think it should be good for at least a month or so.

Today is a busy day (for me).   Brunch with some guys from the fish and game club.  That takes pretty much the entire morning.   Than since I'm next to the club range I'll do some shooting there instead of at home.  Tuesday is also dump day and I have some mowing to do at home if I'm not too bloated from the mega-brunch.   Maybe get a motorcycle ready for sale or fix some broken guns.   Dog needs a bath.  Still have gun show items to price out.    Maybe I'll drop most of those things and take a nap.

Up @ 0315.  Laid there until alarm went off 0400.  My mind shifted while I was laying there and it’s raining out.  My work partner was scheduled to be off today so I decide that I would be off today also.  Sent out the text to put me down for comp time and back to bed I went.  Mrs. P woke me up saying “do you know it’s 7:30?” I said “no, I haven’t looked at the clock yet”. 😆 Them we snuggled up and dozed a bit until around 0800.  Up, made coffee and tea, read, surfed and then I had some eggs and toast.  Did some exercise, threw tomahawks, repaired a handle, made waffles for a treat, played with the dog, listened to a couple podcast/sermons.  Now I’m chilling on the couch next to Mrs. P and possibly going to go have another cup of coffee.  Really it’s just a recovery day from last work week and the busy weekend.

If it was anything like when I lived in So Cal that was an all day undertaking.

Evenin y'all.  Got the word today that we are going to be four rangers short this summer.

I'm already working ten hours a day six days a week.  We're salaried.  No overtime.  Today felt like Groundhog Day.  If it's this bad before school lets out it's gonna be absolute freakin torture this summer.

Oh well. . . . . . .  It stll beats workin for a living.

I think it is about time to mow... or clean my tool shed? 

I decided on cleaning the tool shed.

I thought it wasn't too bad to start with and I thought I'd have it done in three hours total if I stayed focused on task. That includes patching a hole in the siding that a mouse chewed through too. I have to move my tool chests out to do the repair. I just don't get into too many rushes on projects like these anymore, just piddle at it. It will get a good spider/insecticide spray while I am at it.

With the ratio of work to distractions I had today I can make it a 3 day job.
