Awake at 6 AM, just going to hang out with my son and daughter in law today. I think we are going to go into Springfield, MO Bass Pro and browse around. I might find something to take home there? LOL
 I have been there before and it is hard to walk out empty handed.

Yep, it's yellow fly season and the tourist are already complaining. Wait till the green heads get started along with the yellow flies, then later on you got the dog flies cranking up. Oh, you won't find any bug repellent of any kind for a 100 miles around here either. Anyway, I just sit back and watch the comedy show.

For today it's delivery day for lapidary equipment. After that go pick up more lawn toys and other gardening supplies and pick up the mail on the way home.

It's 10:45 here and I just got through mowing the yard and just in time to beat the heat of the day.
No other plans other than kill a couple of coke cans .

I've got one can I've been working on for a couple of days and it's almost cut in two.

Good Morning, At it at daylight, clearing out the north fence line so can get the tractor down without being strangled in the process. The new lawn toy is a craftsman cordless pruner and it has met all my expectations. That thing is a beast on anything up to and 1 1/4 thick. It has allowed me to get the brush out of the fence without cutting the fence.  Beats hand pruning any day. It took me an hour to clear out 75 ft. I have new fence to put up and will go right to the existing fence without taking it out. There is to much to clear out to even try taking the old fence out. Also this is my 100 yard range as well, I have some guns that need to be stretched out some. Later today I will put some more veggies down and plant a sacrifice garden for the rabbits and bugs. Ron, I have cut so much with that thing I had to stop because I couldn't walk back down the fire line. It's way better on the hands then using the manual stuff. I can reach through the fence with it and not get all tangled up or just can't get the loppers opened up enough to cut. It is well worth the money for sure.

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! Day 2 of my 5-day weekend and my right shoulder is pretty messed up for no reason. Well, not for no reason, this has happened before, but I didn’t think I really did anything yesterday to deserve a torn shoulder or whatever. I stayed up late 0100 hrs and got up around 0500. I’ve had coffee & breakfast and got Ayrabella off to school. It was raining, but quit sometime after the bus rolled out. Ayrabella has an outdoor field trip, and the rain should hold off from here out until late tonight. I need to go to Lowe’s to pickup a couple extra things for the deck project and my wife wants to pick out another bird bath. I’m thinking we can do that and otherwise, I should take it easy today and hopefully my shoulder gets better.

Edit: I just checked the radar… I hope Ayrabella can still enjoy her field trip, next week is her last week of school for the year. The radar sure ain’t looking too good for outdoor activities, there looks to be a ton more of rain the rest of today and it’s almost upon us. As for my shoulder, a rain day just might be in order.

Thanks for the link, Kris! I never thought of power loppers/pruners before now. I looked to see if Milwaukee had a version and they do… I have Milwaukee tools and plenty of batteries. Mornin y’all.  An enormous peal of thunder woke Flash about 0700.  Now he’s having a giant hissy fit about it.  If Flash ain’t happy ain’t nobody sleeping.  I got up after he decided to lie on my head.  It’s raining this a.m. so it’s a good excuse to stay indoors and draw.

Got my shower and now waiting for the family to rise n shine. Working on my 20oz Bubba cup of coffee.
Looks like rain today but I have tools to put away in the shop from the "mower port" addition on the North Range shootin' shack project we did yesterday.
I may fire up "Casting Corner" and pour some more 217 20 RF Hunters. The guns I have tested with the test batch did really well with them. Well enough to build up a stock of them.
If it don't rain I may get out for some testing in other guns.

I might go to the scrap yard and dump a load of metal afterwards. The trailer’s already loaded and hitched to the van, I could take it with me. We might get some more rain today and my right shoulder is still messed up. If it’ll let me, I’d like to get the line trimming done.

That saw mill blade is HEAVY. I had to put a 2x6 backing board on the inside of the fencing for it. Killer's sister painted that and paints scenery on all sorts of stuff like that. There is a 2 man buck saw she painted in the bar.
