Good morning GTA! Happy Independence Day, fellow Americans! I slept in until 0600. I’m getting ready to get the mowing done. The grandsons are coming over about 1300 hrs. July 6th is Mac’s 10th birthday and my wife got hot dogs and a cake. Of course, we’ll go see fireworks when the sun goes down.

Cappuccino at the moment.  Enjoying the heat of the morning sun.  I'll have to do some more fascia board washing and some general straightening up around the yard but nothing major.  I know the swimming pool is on the agenda at some point and many points along the day.  I really hope to shoot some type of air rifle today.  We don't drink much soda but we collect the plastic bottles they come in through out the year.  We have the BIG BOOM BLAST CAPS that we shoot each year on the 4th.  Bratwurst, sausages, chips, watermelon, s'mores, ginger lemonade

I pulled the old oriental rug out of the bar/mancave that has been in there for years and hung it over the rail going up the ramp. Betty Lou beat the snot out of it with a canoe paddle. She beat that thing until her arms were worn out and dust is still coming out of it. I suggested she put a mask on, hard telling what's in that rug..

We carried about 4 totes of stuff from the screen room to the Red Shed. This is stuff that was in the bar/mancave and staged in the screen room to be sorted as to what stays in the house and what does not according to Betty Lou.
Next step is to sort again to see what goes in the Red Shed and what goes in the trash.

Good morning to a hot and sticky start. Not much to do with the garden this morning, kind of in between crops right now. Go pick up meds and mail. Do some indoor stuff this morning, then mow the rest of the jungle this afternoon when it cools down. Get an AC lined up to replace the other window unit, it is not doing well with this heat and it's old so it's about time. Trying to find one that fits the window, easy to remove the filter, and not run off the cell phone, I don't need any more stupid apps on the my phone.

Mawnin y'all!  In the penalty box again today.  At least it's airconditioned! 

The 4th has passed and the park looks like a disaster zone.  I won't be out in the sun doing cleanup.  Hopefully today will be fairly mellow.  I'm hoping the Po Buckra has done worn themselves out partying for four days!
