I spent a couple minutes attempting to get the Echo line trimmer working, and much to my chagrin, it ran fine.  No idea why it refused to run over the weekend, so chances are there's something going on with fuel- maybe some crud, a clogged jet is now unclogged- who knows, but it is working fine now.  It's a commercial trimmer, solid shaft and really loves running at WOT, so I may also need to clean carbon off the exhaust screen.

Same with me the other day but in my case the echo trimmer had a bad check valve so once I replaced the fuel assy and slapped a new primer bulb on it the thing runs good. I used tin snips to cut off the useless to me choke handle's plastic protective bar that covers access to the primer bulb screws then I sanded the cut stubs smooth so now I don't have to take the air filter and carb screws out to replace the bulb.

How many years on the mower that has 1500hrs? I have 15yrs on one of mine with 800hrs that's getting a new engine, and 15yrs on another one that's got almost 700hrs on it and no oil consumption like the other so the engine should last.

Mornin Y'all.  Up with the chickens.  Today will be a repeat of yesterday.  Lounging, loafing, goofing off.  I hope to work on the irrigation system for the garden.  Might go to the range and burn some powder or just stay home and play with airguns.

About to go get new tires on my Tahoe-still in great shape, but rotted-one tire went flat overnight after getting groceries last week-1.5" crack in the sidewall blowing bubbles  ..

Good morning, playing in the dirt chores are done, more veggies on the stove and in the freezer. Rain delayed my lawn toy repair project yesterday, it's just as well I am waiting on parts to come in that requires one mower to be taken apart and I don't like having equipment parts strewed everywhere while waiting. Make a trip to the post office and clean out the box before I have to use a pry bar to get the mail out of it. Order zoo food and have that ready to be picked up when I get done with the blood donation.

I can relate to both the flat tire and the lawn toys.  My Husq mower has a leaking front tire, but it isn't leaking too fast- yet.

I moved the trailer into the driveway in anticipation of loading it.  I have to shuffle the cars around, and I probably need to start packing stuff for a float on the James River this upcoming weekend.  I also need to sharpen some chainsaw blades for some tree-work, plus removing a steel rope tether supporting a cedar we almost lost this winter.  Half the tree died, but we salvaged a section and it appears to be doing quite well now.

I have a lot of projects and tasks lined up; they will all happen when time permits.

Last sheet needs alot of cutting to fit around steps and header at the doorway down into said Den.

Building roof panels for the gazebo.  All four frames are built and the two smaller ones are covered with metal roofing.  Just have the two larger ones to cover and then they go up.

Just saying, but I was cured relatively quickly over moping about having to get new tires (old ones had real good tread, just were rotted); as I watched a gentleman pulling his truck out of the service bay-only to have part of the exhaust fall off!... 
Felt sorry for him, but also glad the gremlins struck elsewhere today!...

Probably expensive but worth it to be able to stay on the road and stop when necessary.  Definitely cheaper than the cost of an accident.  Now with all that money you saved preventing an accident you can buy a new air rifle! 🤠😆

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! I got up at 0400 and did some reading with my coffee. I have a doctor’s appointment before work today, so I’m taking it slow this morning. It’s just lab work, but it’s not until 1000 hrs. It puts a wrinkle in the work I have scheduled so, it might make for a long day. It depends on how the job goes later.

Good morning, Up at 6:00 AM today. I am going over to my youngest brother's around 10:00 AM to see if there is anything he has that he is not going to move to MI with him, that I want. There is a furniture dolly, a few gas cans, and a variety of aerosol cans to pick though and I am sure some other stuff. I'm sure I will pass on most of it though. Some of those old aerosols may be good targets  .

It is Cool and damp today, 50°F and 88% humidity currently. The high is supposed to be 57°F.

Quite breezy here today... the sun just came out but it's not expected to warm up much past 70. Probably not a good day for accuracy testing. I'll just spend the day making little round lead objects. 
Oh yeah, 6 1/2 qts of 'creek water happy pie' magically appeared. I found the 'ingredients' while looking around the 'back room' for something else.
One thing to note... "Happy pie" and hot molten lead does not mix well together so I need to get all the casting done before the weekend..... if not sooner.
