Hunker down.. Betty Lou just had me turn on the ac near my chair to knock some of the humidity off. She also turned the small one on in the bedroom.
She did some laundry today and hung towels and bed sheets out on the line. I was surprised how fast they dried. We did have a nice breeze.

Well, we had kinda sort of a heat wave today too.  It got up to 23F. 

I thought about breaking out the flip-flops.

It's supposed to be cold and snowy in NH tonight and tomorrow.    So far this Feb was the easiest I've ever seen.   I haven't used the snowblower yet this season.   Global warming temps in the 40s and 50s for most of Feb.    Wife and I own two house lots on the Gulf side of Florida but I just don't see us building and moving there yet.  If next winter is a tough one maybe Florida will be looking  better to us.

I wish it would cool down just a little, 85* was the highest on my weather station. I had to work short stints and then come in to cool off. I did get the shop recovered at the cost of stiff hands and an extremely painful shoulder but the task is done. I will find something less strenuous to do tomorrow and let the flares settle down. It's been a good day, things got done and I am not in the hospital or hole.

Good chance of record high temps here today but also scattered thunderstorms predicted for later.
I'll probably tinker in the Red Shed today. I can leave the doors closed and turn that industrial fan on low.
The gravel floor keeps it cool in there.

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! This week seems to be flying by for me. I got up just before 0430 CST. Walked the dog and had my coffee. I need to get rolling out to work. I have 2 draft inducer motors to replace before my 1300 hr doctor appointment. After my doctor appointment, I have some sort of service call they need me to run. I had one guy quit a couple weeks ago and I have 2 guys working out of state. They said I’m the only guy in my area. I think that means I have one other guy who should be helping me out quit too, and they’re just not telling me.

The snow storm s starting to wrap up.
I woke up at 5 am this morning to clear snow from the storm.
So far not too bad. Only around 13 to 15 inches of light powder snow.
That will make for around 18 to 20 inches of snow, all totaled, adding the 5 inches we got yesterday.
If I add the 3 1/2 inches of snow from Tuesday it will add up to a little more.
There is some big snow drifts in the driveway.
The winds have subsided to 25 mph and the temp is around 15 F.
The windchill is around -4.
As soon as it gets light outside, I will fire up the snowblower and start clearing the snow.
Once the snow stops at around 10 am, it is going to start getting cold. It will be around -10 F by tomorrow morning.

Good day for sledding, snow ball fights and fort building.
We didn't need no electric when we were kids during weather like that in Northern Ohio.. only time we ever even went in the house was for dry socks and gloves.
