Good morning GTA! Happy Labor Day! I slept in until 0615. I’m having my coffee and I’ll have another before I get moving. The grass is wet, so I’m going to take my time this morning before I cut & trim the lawn. I’ll have to get some mower gas before I get started then I’ll get the trimming done first. I’m pain free since my injection, this’ll be the closest thing to work since Thursday. It’s only supposed to get to 83* today, it’d be nice if I can shoot a bit more this afternoon. Probably the FWB Sport, since I didn’t pull it out yet this weekend.

I told Hoosier Momma that I woke up feeling the best I have in a week.
Her reply, "Don't over do it... relax. You have to go back to work tomorrow".
To me that means no yard work, no cleaning, no Labor... so I guess I have her direction to lounge around and shoot some airguns all day.

I restrung the line trimmer and went at the jungle.
Ya know, a month or so ago before I got on this healthy living kick, I couldn't do stuff like that without succumbing to the call of the spirits, or feeling like I was going to. Now I'm wondering if life was easier then.. 
Sit in the recliner and think about all the things I couldn't do without dying. Now I am getting to the point that the excuses are just BS.
But at the end of the day, the things I wanted to do were mere foregone thoughts and what ifs. Today they felt like round tuits. And there are lights at the end of several tunnels in the shapes of round tuits.

I added a 3" spinner as a "sighter" to my new "mini" spinner rack.

That was a terrible movie.  God I love it.  But it was truly cringeworthy in places. Got a copy of it around here somewhere. . . . .

This 118.4°F is 6 miles from my house, but it is only 108 on my back deck. The 118 station has another station about a block away that is reporting 117 too. The 2nd pic shows how much temp varies within short distances.

Good morning GTA! I hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day weekend!  I slept until 0350 CT this morning.  I need to run to the bank this morning and renew a CD. I may shoot my R7 or R9 a bit before going. But right now it's time for more GTA surfing and coffee on the patio till daylight.

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! I slept in until 0530 CT. I had a pretty good weekend, today it’s back to work for me. First job is an air conditioning call. I’m glad for the cooler temperatures. Lows are in the 60*s and highs are in the 80*s for awhile. I couldn’t fathom being in the 100*s anymore this year. 108-118* is just crazy.

We're safe here now, the active fire is east and north of us.

My younger brother that lives in town has been without power since last night and the power company is saying it may be 5 days till they get it restored so I took him a generator. When I got back home my wife had left to go to town for something else and I don't have my house keys on me so I'm locked out in 105° heat I just drank out of the hose childhood memory flashbacks.lol
