The herbicide is just for sidewalk and parking lot crack weeds here and for the painted rock lawn weeds at my place in town.

I sprayed my place before noon today also but with no clouds or breeze it was miserably hot and I got a sun burn out of it but my weeds are dying so I'm good with it.

John the rain dropped the temps down from 100 to 80 here today and I was grateful for the relief, plus I got a free car wash out of it too. 75mph in the rain = a good clean.

I used the rest of the pesticide spray this morning and I need to buy more to finish, I still have three sheds that need sprayed. I started about 8:00 AM and it was 90°F by the time I got done spraying.  Then I walked the property with the ant poison. I had 4500 steps in by the time that was done.

I was too sunburned to continue with the ants so that will wait until next morning. Best to catch them when the nest is small since is harder to kill a big nest and you use way more spray.

Good morning GTA! Happy Thursday! Up at 0430 CT. We really cooled down, this morning it’s only 65*. It’s supposed to get to the low 80*s, I’m glad- I’ve had enough heat this summer. Today I’ll start off with an hour drive for an air conditioning call. Coffee first!

 It's a rainy Thursday! Yep, it's raining again. The 10day forecast shows 50% or greater chance for rain on 8 of the next 10 days. Funny thing is.....that it can change in a heartbeat but as for now it raining.

My 10 day looks real close to all triple digits and real close to 0% chance of rain. 
The early mornings are beautiful though until around 9:30 AM.

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday!!! Up at 0440 CT. I’m having my second cup of coffee and it’s only 65* outside. It’s supposed to get to near 90* today & tomorrow. Still better than the run we had most summer long. I’m going to try to get my mowing done after work, if there’s time. This morning I’ll head to the chiropractor, then I’m working with a fellow tech at a site that’s fairly new with 9 work orders open. I’m hoping we can tackle them together and get everything the way it should be.

Right now 5:30 AM it is 71°F at my place and todays high is predicted to be 102°F.
71 is 6 degrees higher than the location 8.5 miles away where 102 is forecast though, so we'll see.

Our forecast just changed at 5:33AM to 103°F it will probably be 1-6 degrees Higher at my place.

One of my guys has a vacation day today so I will be filling in for him on the forklift.
Thankfully the temps are not as high as they have been.
The good news is that time goes pretty fast when I am busy unloading trucks.

Here it has been a beautiful week.. clear blue sky. Our lows at night in the low 60's / High 50's and the daily high temps have hovered in the low 80's.
 Currently it is 65 and todays high is forecasted at 81. Low humidity.
Naturally, tomorrow is Saturday, and rain is moving in for the weekend.

Yes especially on that map, beach, mountains, and desert, but it has more to do with updrafts and down drafts in the immediate area I live in within 15 miles of here in Hemet the elevation only varies about 150 feet and the temp will vary as much as 20° which makes for another experience on a motorcycle that those in cars miss.

In the City of Palm Springs the elevation varies 500 feet.
The five acres I live on has an average elevation of 1768 feet and goes up to 1783 and down to 1760, the south-eastern part being the highest but has a rolling parameter.

Good morning guys and gals! Rainy Friday!!! Up at 0500 CT. Today is garbage day I was lucky it stopped raining just long enough for me to put the trash bin by the road.  I’m only on my first cup of coffee but with it raining all day that will definitely change. It's 74° outside and only supposed to get to 80° today. Suppose to rain all but a couple of hours today. I have a headache this morning so I'm not sure if I'll be doing much tinkering.

Mornin y’all.  Day three of my three day weekend.  I’ve got to go to the pharmacy today so I thought I’d go to the hardware store too.  I’m going to look for a variety of small screws, springs, and washers I need for various airgun projects.
