Yep. In my mind I feel like I'm 35 again but then while doing a strenuous task my body says otherwise.

In my body's defense, yesterday I was using a chainsaw and piling limbs in the heat of the day.

Thanks John. I'm on the mend. I had a work injury at UPS that resulted in a ruptured disc. My C5-C6 vertebrae are fused together and anytime I do very much work requiring looking up my neck hurts the next few days.

I used a gas powered pole saw a lot yesterday as well as supporting a heavy chainsaw while cutting up high. My neck is swollen and has been cramping off an on all day. My fault, I knew better.

Mornin'
After breakfast I'll run to the auto parts store and pick up a coil pack and spark plug for the Titan.
I connected the WiFi OBD2 module and scanned it with the tablet. Cylinder #3 is not firing.
Should be a simple job.... famous last words.

$75, one bolt and one connector later and the Titan runs like a Singer sewing machine again.
It literally took me longer to locate a 10mm socket than to fix the truck.

I did get a bit nervous when only the top popped off the coil pack instead of the whole thing pulling out.
But that turned out to be a non issue... just pop only the top of the new one back on, put the retaining bolt back in and plug the connector in.
I left a real nice pair of black marks down the hard road....

Good job Bill. If you get your tools organized you can grab that 10mm socket in seconds. Most of mine are organized but I have a couple tool boxes from my late uncle that need organizing because finding sockets, wrenches ect in there is indeed time consuming. Glad to have them though because there are sizes he had that I didn't so once I get them organized I'll be set.

Yeah the GMC is a great back up and got us to the ATV park and back just fine but, the Titan is my #1.

I inherited my late BIL's tools and since the move I really need to organize.

No real plan but, I think I'll gather my tanks, change the water in the YH cooling bucket and fill everything.
May even organize and clean up the work bench. Depending on the weather, I might shoot some.

Good morning GTA! Happy 4th of July!!! Up at 04-something… central time. I’m having coffee and enjoying this cool, quiet morning. My back is still a mess, but I really need to trim the bushes today (I have a real nice electric, long-reach, lite hedge trimmer) …it shouldn’t take long. My wife’s going to help me straighten up some things in the garage and in the house today. I’ll pop off an airgun or 2, eat good food and we’ll sit on the edge of town tonight to see the fireworks. 🇺🇸

That's the thing about 10mm tools, they are never around when needed

Then again that 1-2/2" wrench can be a bugger to find when needed also.
Not much planned but there has been a woodchuck spotted on the property, so I plan to sit in wait to eliminate

Just finished mowing the grass that I couldn't mow because Betty Lou had clothes on the line.
Replaced a missing bolt on my atv winch rope roller. Rewired a bad switch on Betty Lou's atv winch.
The shooting deck we built on the back of the mancave served it's other intended purpose well.
A set of ramps were perfect to drive the atvs up on the deck to work on them out of the weather and off the ground. Close to power and the commercial fan keeps things cool.

I understand completely. His tool boxes are full of sockets that I'd like to organize with some sort of socket holders in that drawer but I haven't come up with an idea yet. He's got a piece of wood with holes drilled in it for holding some sockets in another taller drawer but that wouldn't work in the thin drawer below. I'm wondering if there are some sort of socket strips to fasten sockets to similar to a star bit set that I bought. If so I could lay those sideways in the drawer and they would fit in there instead of them standing up.

John my bushes look like that too despite trimming them a few months ago. Those suckers grow quick and I haven't even been watering them.

I was up at 0345 CT this morning. We had a thunderstorm last night and a hugh strike happened just fown the road from me that knocked out the power out at 2030 CT last night. I went to bed expecting it to be repaired this morning. It was for everyone but me. The lightning strike blew the transformer on the pole last night. It took out our 50" TV, DSL modem, DVD player, two phone chargers and who knows what else. So I was hooking up the generator to our deep freeze at 0400 this morning. I'll call my homeowners insurance company tomorrow to start a claim.
