Good morning GTA! Happy Friday! Up at 0400 CDT.  Thanks John. We're actually and my oldest daughter's sister in laws lake house in Dover, Tennessee on the Kentucky Lake at124 River Grove Rd, Dover, TN 37058
We're leaving today going back to her house in Memphis but stopping by my son in law's parent's home in Martin, Tennessee on the way.  We'll be leaving for our home either Saturday or Sunday.

 I woke up at 5:00.... 1/2 hour before the alarm goes off.
 Busy day at work today, machine that has been down is getting parts today, closing of our 4 day ISO audit, Then after work getting my 2nd vaccine, and folloewed by serving at the Lodge.
Notice I didn't say "cooking"? One of our members is from Germany and tonight HE is cooking some authentic German meal.
But he needs help so Hoosier Momma will be taking orders and I will be serving.

My plans for today....
Trying to put 10lbs. of you know what into a 5lb. bag.
This is the new rack system they installed for me in an area of my warehouse.
The idea is to put all the current model parts on the rack and stuff for the model phasing out on the floor in the center of the space.
The problem is.... the stuff you see here will go to the production lines at the rate of 1500 vehicles being produced every 24 hours.  This section is only parts made in the USA. The stuff coming from Korean is a whole other monster. How fun is that to manage?

Man you guys work way too hard!  I am truly lucky that I am just too dumb to work at that sort of job.  I get to do easy stuff like dig holes and move rocks.

Anyhoo. . .   Mornin y’all.  Just got back from the emergency room.  I seem to spend a lot of time there recently.  I hope this is not going to be a trend. The memsahib was involved in a car accident.  Seems another driver rear-ended her.  She is complaining that she hurt her head, neck, and shoulder.  She is home and resting now.  The doc gave her some scrips for pain and swelling and I am to keep a close eye on her.  She had X-rays and a CT scan and they didn’t see anything wrong so we’re hoping she just got beat up and bruised some.  Her car is a mess though.  Rear end pushed in and the hatchback is sprung.  Guess I’ll wait and see what the insurance company will offer me.

Good morning GTA! Slept in until 0700 CT. It’s a brisk 40* outside this morning, it’s supposed to get to the low 60*s today.

Carter, sorry to hear your wife was in an accident. I hope things with the insurance go well, never fun. I hope and pray your wife is alright and will heal quickly.

My wife was supposed to work today, but she’s not feeling well and left a note for me to call out for her. Never a good thing to do, but she’s really not feeling well. We’ve had good news on her test results, but no procedure yet.

I was planning on some home maintenance stuff, still am, but we’ll see once my wife is up. I need to reseal the toilet in the master bath, both the ring, the tank seal and hardware. I wanted to take the opportunity to caulk the seams on the floor to the molding while I’m at it. I also need to start breaking down, separating and loading the scrap pile outside.

Depends on how the day goes, but I’m hoping to shoot some airguns later on when the temps are in the 60*s.

Carter I hope she had a good night's sleep. Years ago my wife was in a similar accident and she was pretty sore and stiff for a week or more. I'm really sorry she is having to deal with this.  I also hope the insurance company treats you well.

Thanks folks.  The memsahib is doing better.  She is very sore and bruised but thank goodness she was not hurt worse.  Thank you all for your concern.  I drove four boats today and in between I gave program on primitive fishing.  Next week it will be primitive cooking.  If you’ve ever had my cooking you would agree it is pretty primitive.

Lol!  Poached (sic) pigeon, dog food surprise!!, Snake and potato’s, and skunk and beans! ( it makes your eyes water instead of your mouth).  These are all Boy Scout names for common camp foods.  I use them in my program to get the kids interested.

 Betty Lou must have some anxiety going on... she was up at 3am with some coffee brewing. It's most likely because the rest of the major appliances were moved and installed yesterday and she was excited about it. I stayed in bed until 4:30 then got up and swapped the power cord on the dryer to match the outlet.
All the important stuff in now here. Now we need to get all the rest packed and moved.
The hog wire fence along the length of the property near the road was missing a few sections. I replaced those sections and now the fence runs the full length. We've noticed a young family walking the dirt road with their dog. The fence will keep Boss and Rambo from getting too friendly...

Good morning GTA! Up at 0600 CT. I’m on my 3rd cup of coffee, enjoying the cooler weather. It turned a bit too cool, too fast though, lows about 40*. If I remember correctly, it was 90* just a week ago. It should warm up a little starting today, lows in the 50*s and highs in the low 70*s. I got my bathroom work done yesterday, but didn’t get to shoot at all. My wife’s feeling a little better, so we’ll all go to Ch**ch today and small group this evening. I’m certainly hoping to shoot some airguns today, sometime in the middle.

Mornin guys today up at 7:30 went to bed late after a family Jack and Jill baby shower for my nephew and his lovely wife. Today I'm removing the questionable OEM trailer brake controller. Then installing a TEKONSHA 90885 / Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Electronic Brake Control in its place. The OEM controller was not seeing the trailer connection and had issues with the trailer brake lock up while at highway speeds. The Tekonsha is a proove compatible product with a proven track record. Fortunately, it is also plug and play so it is a 30 minute fix

Finishing up my morning coffee before getting in the shower and dressed for church.  The wife is feeling quite sore.  On our way home from the car show yesterday she took a tumble off her bike and tore up her knee.  By the time we arrived home her elbow looked as if it swallowed a golf ball.  That put sailing out of today's activities so I guess I'm mowing the lawn.

Up early and looking for extra clothing this morning, 56* here now, may make it to 80* later today. Since the weather is cooperating(no rain!) I will finish up some long, overdue woodworking and move seedlings to bigger containers.

Ua, that means 3 months of solid rain got me behind .like you know.   I likef driveway rut thing  I haul the n sand and a week of more rain made it like I ain't added a scoop.   Yard area stayed so wet could not mow proper,. Ect...
