Good morning GTA. It is 0200 here in Sopchoppy and I have just come in from another round of the property looking for armadillos.  No dillas but the pig frogs are carrying on all around the edge of the ponds.  I think frogging is going to be good here soon.

Good morning GTA! Up at 0430 CDST. After dropping my youngest daughter's youngest daughter of at school this morning I'm going to Lowe's to pick up a sack of premixed concrete and go back to my daughter's house to patch a hole that broke through in her back steps.

I have a Tractor Supply PM to do, but not sure if I can get that done today. On my second cup of coffee, I have my 0600 meeting with the guys and I’ll head to the job & see how the weather looks then.

Yep, when I got there it was worst than it looks. I used some concrete screws and screwed these boards on till I can find a new set.

Since I need to go repair my youngest daughter's back steps I loaded up my mower and trimmer to cut her yard. My 60" zero turn can cut her yard in 15 minutes another 20 to trim and I'm done.  Then decided to go on and cut the lady's yard that pays me. This afternoon I cut about 3.25 acres of my own yards. I'll finish it tomorrow.

Nice work, Brother Dan! It’s still raining here, even though the radar shows it’s west of me. Hopefully by sunup the sky's will clear. Up at 0445 CDST. I got a half a day’s work inside on a cooler yesterday. Today I’ll go do that Tractor Supply I was supposed to do. Everything is turning bright green outside and lots of folks are complaining about the pollen this year. I suppose with the decent winter we had and just the right amount of rain, sun and temperatures our grass, trees and woods are pretty healthy. I’m looking forward to finishing out today & tomorrow so I can mow & trim on Saturday.

Thanks John, those boards will do until I can find another set of steps. If I can't locate another set I'll buy some treated lumber and replace those pallet boards.  Oh I almost forgot.
Good morning GTA! Up at 0500 CDST. I plan on finishing my yard today. I lack about 1.5 hours cutting grass and all my trimming. Trimming today will be long. The ditch was too wet to cut with the mower so I will have to cut it with my string trimmer.

Well....now that I have officially crashed the thread...good morning!

I was up and had a pot of coffee on a few minutes before 0300 local time. My current project, besides a recent job remake, is that I am doing demolition on an add-on room to a vintage mobile home, so that I can have the mobile moved over here from next door. The trailer was one that my old neighbors likely bought new in the 70s. It was sort of a cross between a travel trailer and today's mobile home, with 2x framed walls. It's only 46 ft long and 12 ft wide. My neighbors lived it this trailer until the husband died, then their daughter died a few years later. The wife now lives with her grandson down near Houston. Her niece called me a couple of months ago to ask me if I wanted the old trailer and a cedar storage shed.
So.......i am in the process of getting them prepped for moving about 1000 feet to my property, where I will renovate and update the trailer for me to live in.
At that point, I will also be putting up a visual divider on my place, and using my current house/ shop for income property.

Everyone seems to think I am crazy for doing this, but it won't be the first time I have jumped into the deep end and came out alive. 😆

Up at 0440 CDST. Having coffee, reading GTA and checking off my Friday morning list of things. I have my chiropractor visit at 0730. Before I leave, I need to spray the perimeter of the house for bugs... spiders, centipedes, ants, etc... Then, one more Tractor Supply PM to do today and it’s my local store, only 15 minutes from home. I want to make the most of this weekend, since next week I’m on call. So, if I get home at a decent time, I want to get the mowing done this afternoon. If I have to wait til Saturday, I know the grass will be wet in the morning.
