I’m going into my second shift now so only 8 hours to go!

Enjoying coffee at the moment.  I’ll get work done then go home.  Mom and pops are coming over tonight and we are making steaks for dinner.  We are celebrating their anniversary today!  I’m looking forward to the weekend.  It will be a three day weekend for me.  I’m taking Tuesday off for one of our daughters birthday 🎂.  She is turning 16..

Enjoy all the celebration and time off. How fortunate you are to have your folks still and a child turning "sweet 16"!     

Thank you David!  We are blessed and try not to take these times for granted because we know that it’s limited.  Enjoy the moment and make lasting memories.

Tomorrow’s (3/19) plans are to take one son to work.  He has to be there by 7 am.  Come home.  Coffee, eggs, bacon, blueberry muffins, read, surf.  Blood donation appointment at 0910 just a couple miles down the road.  Weekly bathroom sterilization will take place and possibly wash my truck time permitting.  I will have to prioritize throwing some lead projectiles with my HW30S so the truck may not get a bath.  I can do that Saturday morning before work if need be.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0445 CST. It’s Friday, and I don’t have a first call for work again. That could change, but I’m glad it’s Friday. Coffee first and let the dogs out (coffee with the dogs, LOL)... I’ve got to see the chiropractor, he was out last week. Then I have to bring my CPAP machine in, it’s making sounds it shouldn’t. Leapers responded to my warranty claim, via email. I didn’t realize my scope had a serial number, so I have to respond and hopefully after that I can send this thing in. I’ll call the office at 0800 and see if there’s work for me today.

Alexa woke me up at 5 as usual, she did not, however make me coffee. 

Its OK, Mr Keurig made me a cup so all is good. Working through the last of 10 long cords through the wood boiler, I will go to propane by April 1st unless I cut more wood. Off to work to save the day.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0545 CDST. It’s Friday, garbage pickup day so I'll gather up the trash first thing. It's 48° now and will only warm up to 56° under cloudy skies.  Winds will be NNW @ 7 mph.  It's supposed to be a high pollen count today oh joy.

I may work on converting some of the silhouettes I bought into spinners but hopefully I'll find some time to fine tune my scope zero on the Diana RWS-460.

Gonna get some shade offen the ground!  Got a prescribed burn today.  We will be burning approximately 60 acres of plantation pine to reduce the fuel load and improve habitat.  Should be fun!

I got up at 6:30. I had a cardiologist appt at 10:30, it has been 4 ½ years since I had the stent put in and all’s well. My Numbers are all excellent- great except I am a 214 LBS.  I made the routine appointment for a 5-year stress test in September. That weight number, and I would look better if I would lose about 24 LBS. I did get up to 232 and then got down to 210 (when my wife was away visiting the kids in Idaho) but have been maintaining right at 215ish for a while now. I did yard work yesterday and have some more to do today.

I drove my 1969 GMC to the Doctors and noticed a slight miss at idle, I opened the hood to find that when the grandson replaced the spark plug wires, a few are now touching the exhaust manifold. It seems that some of the wires are too short, so it looks like I will be buying another set and need to make sure I get ones that I can cut to length. The ones I bought last time were expensive and High Temp. wires but pre-made to fit and they do not. I just let him do it and he did say that some of the wires were on the short side. I should have checked it out myself but didn’t.  The 1969 Pickup has the center dump manifolds which creates the need for straight boots and different length wire than the rear dump manifolds that most GM engines have.

Accelerating and at speed it runs good, but I will be taking care of that miss so I don’t end up with a lot worse gas mileage, even though I don’t drive it all the time. About six months ago we took it to the beach and drove about a hundred and ninety miles that day. It looks like an old truck and needs paint desperately, but mechanically is restored. “I don’t mind the Patina”  and I am sure I could drive it anywhere in the U.S.A. without a problem.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0430 CDST. It's 48° now and will warm up to 63° under mostly cloudy skies.  Winds will be ENE @ 7 mph.

Yesterday I worked on some of the patio plants but I  did find time to fine tune my scope zero on the Diana RWS-460 and then as they say I went "long", 60 yards that is. The D460 was able to zap some 1.5" spinners if I did my part.

Today I plan to work on converting some of the silhouettes I bought into spinners and if it works I'm going to possibly make another stand just for them.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0440 CST. That’s about our weather for the day, Dan. We’re starting off a little bit colder, 34* right now, but supposed to get to 63*, winds no more than 7-8 mph from the South, Southeast.

I didn’t have any work yesterday, but I got some things done. I got 2/3 of the mowing done, the west side/front really didn’t need mowed, it’s mostly Bermuda and still brown and coming around slowly. Today I’ll do the line trimming and clean everything up. Other than that, not sure what else I might do. I’m sure I’ll shoot a little at some point.

I'm going to package my Diana 48 for shipment, on Monday, to its new owner in Oregon.  If it warms up a bit, we may griddle a couple of Patty Melts,  or something, and shoot a pellet or two.

I had a bit of an electrical problem with the two outlets on the island.  Repairs took me most of yesterday.
This morning I will be moving around carefully to loosen up the sore hips. (They got that way from rolling around on the hard floor yesterday.)

Oh, it is a keeper, it is a joy to drive, it drives and rides like a 1972 with all options did when new.
I swapped the front suspension to a 1972 as an easy way to get the disk brakes since I happened onto one.

I have done a lot to it since I bought it. I put in a new GM crate motor (HD 350) Suburban motor, added power steering, tilt wheel automatic steering column, swapped 3 speed manual transmission for a Turbo 400 with shift kit,  added power brakes. I had it lifted for a while but did not like the harsher ride the springs and tires provided.

It lacks an  Air conditioner which I plan on remedying with an aftermarket system but since I don’t have to drive it, I have put that off for now. 

It is a great truck. I think have owned it over 20 years.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0440 CST. I didn’t do much of anything but shoot and take notes yesterday. I was going to do the line trimming, but I before I woke anyone up, I decided to try one more thing with that scope I wanted to send in for warranty. Long story short is I was able to put it on the DPMS Panther A4 .177 and it appears to not be broken. I’m going to withdraw my warranty claim and do some more testing with it. Besides Ch**ch I may get to do that today.

Flight touched down in Indy at 20:00, Got home right before Midnight.
 Woke up at 06:00 ( but it's really 05:00) They don't recognize DST in Cancun so my internal clock is a week behind you all.
Today is "catch-up day". Unpack, do Laundry,  Can't pick up my Dawg from the Spa (kennel) until 1500 on Sunday's... it will be hard to wait that long!
Pulling in the drive late last night, I see a bunch of limbs down in the yard, so apparently we had a storm, I need to check out clean that up.
 Supposed to be a nice day here 61 and sunny! If I get my chores knocked out soon enough, MAYBE I can shoot some Airguns today.

Mornin'.. Me and Rambo slept in til 5:30 this morning. Betty Lou has been sleeping in the spare room because we've been keeping each other up coughing. Pollen and cigarettes. Great stuff.
Worked yesterday so I didn't get much else done other than some grocery shopping. Plan to get the lammed stock bedded and Betty Lou's .177 Maxi today. Maybe get it scoped, sighted in and chronied.

Good morning, up at 5 cst., like Mike, working on, getting unstiff from yesterday's jungle removal. Managed to get nut trees planted, clear out brush to get the rest of the fruit trees in pots freed up for planting. The hurricane buried part of my nursery making it difficult to move the pots around. Today, pick up a car port that was damaged in the storm from a friend.
