Well, the blade replacement went well... no blood was lost in the process... 
The yard got a relative good cleaning and mowing.
Next up, move the RV back into it's resting place and get the trailer put back to it's spot as well.
I smell breakfast first.

I actually impressed myself today.. not only did I finish the above, I got gutters cleaned out, non slip on the outdoor steps and ramp, RV gassed up and parked (hook ups connected) and a pile of shot up beverage cans cleaned up. All that and I had time to watch the race and enjoy a few beers.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0400 CST... I used the alarm so I can get used to DST, it’ll take a day or so. Having coffee with the dogs, then I’ve got to get the trash out by 0500. Going back to work today, I’ve got to build up the airgun kitty.

Up at 2:12... UGH!  In and out of sleep till 5, coffee, toast, feed the wood boiler, GTA, back to work in a half hour.

Welcome to daylight savings. I understand this may be the last one in our area. That would be just fine with me.
Welp, back to work this morning after being off since last Tuesday due to illness. And wouldn't you know, my crane operator has vacation for the next 2 days so I'll be covering him. That job also requires unloading flatbed trucks of steel blanks with a forklift. That means in and outside travel... weather in the 80's and rain... 
I like beer.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0530 CDST... I didn't the get to sleep till after midnight. I drank some coffee at 7pm and I guess it kept me from getting sleepy.

John you're "Having coffee with the dogs" ? I laughed,  it made me wonder, do they drink their's black or with creamer? LoL

Oh I just spent close to $200 on two different pellet orders. So I know what you mean  when you say you have to build up the airgun kitty.

In bed and up 1 hour later than usual. Just letting the body clock do it's thing.

Head to the local small town to drop off recycle stuff, top off the tank, grab a 12 pack and get the 2nd Shingles shot. Not a vax fan,.. but shingles is something you do NOT want to get.

Hip wake up call a 3 a.m., not much sleep with that going on. Breakfast, empty out the truck, tractor supply to pick up zoo food and unload that mess, start on new fence line or take down dead tree-haven't decided how much body damage I want to inflict today. Maybe, just maybe go fishing if the weather isn't to bad tomorrow. Ya'll have a safe day.

Chris, I just got my first shingles shot, now I gotta wait at least two months for the second. Reading the literature from cvs you could still get shingles but if you did I guess it wouldn't be as bad. I pay $191.00 for a shingles shot and I still could get shingles?

Whoa! I haven't paid for a shot in decades. Most insurance pays for any preventive vaccines. You may be able to get your $ back.

Multi-things here. Not working. Temp. got Medicaid since state is under emergency orders. I can still get Medicaid (and) UE payments as of Jan. 1st. Emergency orders get lifted and Medicaid is out, unless they extended it? Who knows. Normal is no UE or income and you qualify for medicaid. Keep income down below 1400 per month also gets medicaid.

At any rate, got the flu shot, eye exam, new glasses, dental clean and 5 cavities filled and the shingles vaccine, all for free.

Can't say I am proud of it at all, but I have paid into it all my life (always worked). So yes, I hammered it for all it was worth.

Glad to hear that the movement to eliminate the biannual sleep disruption cycle is still rolling...
I reallly hope they get rid of it here in Ohio...
Anyways; too windy to drag more deadfall ash out of the woods for this winter's warmth; so will probably take advantage of the dry weather and get some garden beds tilled.
Not nearly as warm as it has been, but at least the sun is still shining.

Daylight Saving Time has been around for over 100 years all over the world.  It has been on and off and on again in many places - including the US.  The theory is that it saves energy.  (Studies have shown that it saves about 0.3% in energy.  [On a $300 home utility bill, that would be about $1.00])  It does seem to promote more physical activity, and is a benefit to organized sports.  Studies also show that in increases heart attacks by about 10%. 
So if it goes away sometime soon, that would be a good thing for most people.  But if you hang around for a while, it probably will be back.

Up at 4, coffee (wonderful coffee), pull lunch together, fill the boiler, work then bring momma to get some "laser" sight correction done an hour away. Shopping for a new car battery as momma's went flat yesterday and is due for replacement.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0400 CST. I hear ya’, David. Yesterday turned out to be a full day at work, I didn’t shoot one pellet. Usually, I try to shoot at least one everyday. This morning I’ve got my Tuesday morning meeting, after that an uncertain start to work. I’m waiting on a piece of equipment to install and the guy bringing it is also bringing something to another tech in Ft. Smith. Regardless, it won’t come our way til after 0800 and at least a 2 hour drive. Hopefully, maybe, it won’t be too late.

Up at 5:30, breakfast, feed zoo, check traps, hook up bush hog and clear out from around the dead trees, locate and clear out for areas to plant fruit trees, clear a garden space, and maybe make it to the water for a little bit fishing depending on the weather.

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0530 CDST. Yesterday morning early we filled and carried seven 5 gallon buckets of dirt up to the woman's house that I cut her yard for. She had some deep holes in her yards that needed filling. She's a good friend and we visited about an hour and a half before coming back home. When we got home I blew off the patio and I noticed that the pollen was the worst I've ever seen.

John I didn’t shoot one pellet yesterday either. If it's decent weather I try to shoot at least one everyday too. The Diana RWS-460 is shooting so well I want to upgrade the scope but since it's going to be raining for the next two days that is put on hold.

It's 68° now with a projected high of 77°.  There's a 70% or higher chance of thunderstorms today and tomorrow. Possibly of severe weather tomorrow.

At least it will wash away some of this dang pollen.
