Wife and I are going to go support him.
Win or loose? He made it to the finals after a few times invited and We got to respect that!

That's great. My younger brother has bowled 300 games a couple of time. He was working at the bowling alley at the time and bowled a LOT. I bowled a 289 once on a WE, LOL

 I did bowl over 200 once but that was far better than my average which was about 138? because I rarely bowl and have never been on a league. I haven't bowled for years now because of my back pain.

Off work at 7am.  Travelled home.  Sipped coffee and ate toast while reading and sitting with my wife.  Cut two boys hair, cleaned up, scrubbed one of the bathrooms and descaled around the faucets, fixtures to get them fresh again.  Cleaned under the carport and driveway.  Shot 40 pellets through an air rifle.  Ate lunch, took a 45 minute nap and now I’m back at work for my last shift of the week.  Looking forward to the weekend!

Good Morning GTA! Up at 0412 CST. The weather is weird after all that weather we had the past couple - few weeks. Yesterday’s high was 60*, woke up and it’s 62*, our high for today. The temperature will slowly drop to about 32* tomorrow morning. Hopefully, it won’t be too windy today. Obviously, I’m still thinking about the Parrus .22 and possibly a failed scope. I think I’m going to bring the turrets back to mechanical zero. Ch**ch isn’t til 1000 hrs. Hopefully, I’ll get a 10 shot group on paper and not adjust it. Shoot it again later and see what happens.

Good Morning GTA family. I was awake till after midnight last night but woke up at 0545 CST. The weather is weird here too John. Especially after all that cold wet weather we had the past couple or so weeks. It's 68° now with a high of 79° today.

The winds will remain in the double digits all day from 10 mph now increasing to 15 mph. 

Not only the high wind but also the high humidity.  It's 97% humidity now and will remain high all day as well with a 15 - 20% chance of rain.

I doubt I'll shoot in these conditions today.

We also have some strange weather here as well. Our 35 degree day dropped to a 25 degree day and our partly sunny day wend to a snow storm overnight. It will clear by noon but I was supposed to get a load of wood today so we will see if he comes or not.

Go get the wife's NY Times and bananas. Pay some bills. Find a B3 one piece cocking lever for another GTA guy. Shoot my Mendoza .22 RM3000, .22 RM2800 and RM2000 break barrel repeaters and my Hammerli X2 (Mendoza) dual cal.

I’ll stop whining about our weather now....

Plan is to clean up my latest HW30S, shim the guide (ghetto tune), reassemble and adjust.  Also, a barrel treatment will happen and hopefully some shooting after all that.  I have the new style stock on this 30 and it looks and feels great.  It is very nice improvement compared to the standard stocks IMO.  The grip panels are very grippy.

I’ve been itching to shoot my 400 laminate so I’m imagining that I’ll get some trigger time with it AND any others that tickle my fancy. 🎯

Good morning GTA family.  Up at 0425 CST this morning.  It's 68° right now warming to 70° before noon then temps will begin dropping this afternoon.  Rain likely this morning and there is a 60% chance of thunderstorms this afternoon.  .

Good Morning GTA! I did get called to work yesterday, as soon as I reached the door when Ch**ch let out. I didn’t get home until 2300 hrs. I still got up at 0515 CST. I have to take the trash out, sometimes they come early. Having coffee and let the dogs out. I did get to mechanically zero the scope on the Parrus yesterday morning, though. It’s shooting 16” low. I only got to shoot about 10 pellets through it, so I’ve got some more testing to do before I determine what’s going on and what to do about it. Today I’ve got a filter change PM.

Congratulations on getting the slabs delivered.  Where do you stack them to cure after you have cut them to length?

Do you cut them right there or do you move a bundle closer to where they will be stacked to cure?

Dan, they get delivered under the skirts of the pines to season then they are rolled about two feet away (the far end of the pile) from the next in the pile and using a long bar, are cut in three places to get 4-24" lengths.

They are loaded in the 6x6 and stacked inside the woodshed (5 long cords) and under the lean too which holds 4 long cords.

The bundles are off the ground, propped up on logs or cedar 4x4 posts and the bundle stacks dont touch so they can dry faster.

 Saturday night I was up late, not something I like to do but I spent some time with grandsons, my youngest daughter, son-in-law, and a granddaughter too.
 We played miniature golf (I won, with three over par), and raced go-carts I didn't win, but was I was the one of us that stopped the race when some young lady decide to pit maneuver herself on my go-cart, stopping nose against the inside rail in front of me as I almost lapped her. I was just short of her left front tire about a couple of inches from the inside rail when she turned hard at me which pushed my cart into the rail which slowed my cart enough for her cart to get in front of me sideways. I didn't have my foot anywhere near the brake pedal since I was stretching my left leg out the whole race because I wasn't using or needing the brakes. I had already lapped two other carts. I am fairly sure if I had been ready to use the brakes, I could have made it around her on the other side. It was a lot fun, even with the mishap!   
 So, I got a little sleep and got up early so I was very tired after my night Church service, I laid down and passed out quickly around 8:30 P.M. so then I woke several times before and was wide awake at 1:50 A.M. and got up. I have been reading emails and surfing the net since.
  It's 37 degrees but will get to the mid 70's today. I will hopefully finish some work in the backyard and carport today (for now, it's never done) .  I don't like to nap but may need to later today. I probably will just stay going all day so I can return to a normal sleep schedule though. The one 18-year-old grandson that has been staying with us left to move to Idaho last night, I will miss not having him around (most of the time). Hopefully, I'm not missing any of my tools. Last time he moved he ended up with a couple of them because he has not ever been really careful about keeping his and mine separate or putting things back when he uses them. OH well, don’t tell him but, I love him more than my tools.
