It was supposed to rain today but I guess it is going to miss us now. I have more mowing and weed whacking to do but, I am having a motivation issue today. It is supposed to get up to 63°F today, it is 59°F currently on my back deck. I know if I get started I tend push myself to complete all the yardwork or just work until it's too dark to go on, regardless of pain. I guess I need to make a goal with a stopping place/time and be satisfied/done when that is completed. I hate just doing things a bit at a time, I have been trying to make myself lately though. It just bugs me so much to stop part way through any job. I don't even like to take breaks. There is a logical part of me that knows better but it often looses that battle with my OCD.

I did that for years pushing through the bad pain but now that I pace myself through jobs taking breaks I'm not suffering through bad pain anymore where I'm actually able to get around better and do things on foot more than I could before always relying on my mower to drive me everywhere on the property. Better quality of life that way though it is frustrating not getting as much done but I'd rather live with mental frustration than bad physical pain and living on pain killers.
Good morning GTA! Happy Wednesday! I got to sleep in until 0340 and got up to make coffee. My allergies are still bugging me, but maybe not as bad. I got some Zyrtec yesterday and it helped a little.
Dan I'm wore out too. Since it was cold enough at 45 today to keep any wasps from stinging me I trimmed the landscaping shrubs and dug out some dead ones then hauled them to the burn pile in the woods. Madd first I've heard of that.

The 1-2 pinch that has helped with my allergies (grass, trees, cats, dogs) has been Allegra-D (D=pseudo ephedrine=decongestant) and Flonase (?fluc-something propipianate???). Anyway, I gained two months off my life back every year from taking that combo. It’s makes it so I can function. Zyrtec and Claratin never even touched my symptoms. It was strange. Benadryl just puts me to sleep.

I don’t think the Zyrtec is helping much. That million acre wildfire in Amarillo is due west of us and we also have 3,750 acres burning in Tallequah, that’s just 45 minutes west of us. That could be the source of my troubles, but we’ve had an early spring here too. I’m not sure, but I sure could use some relief.
