 Well been some time since I picked up a chain saw and cut firewood, today will be the day. Had the pressure tank rust out on the wood boiler in the middle of deer gun season, so I just drained the system until I could get to the repair, weather was warmer than normal for the most part so would of not needed it but at night.
 Any thing else will be improvised

Good morning GTA! Happy Friday!!! I got up at 04-something, around 0430. I’m finishing up my second cup o’Joe and I’ll get ready for work and get Ayrabella on the bus. I’ll go see my chiropractor and then call the office. I got home early yesterday, got the rest of all the dead wood burned up, from the trees we cut down a couple years ago… and then got called back out to work. I got their heat going, but left the job incomplete, so I could go back there- just to have something to do today. I’m on-call this weekend. Today is Ayrabella’s last day of school before Christmas vacation, I have one more work week before my vacation starts.

Good morning GTA! Happy Saturday! I got up at 0500. No real plans for today, I’m on-call this weekend. It is wet and cooler outside this morning. I might find something to do indoors, not sure. We’ll just have to wait & see, if I get called out to work or not.

Up @ 0615.  Made an eggnog latte for Heather (18).  Went and woke her up to give it to her. Just being an obnoxious dad… 🤣
I’m drinking an Americano.
Mom turns 72 today.  She and pops will be here at noon.  I am making Reuben sandwiches for her birthday meal.  That was her request.  Pops will get a turkey sandwich since he doesn’t like Reubens.  I think I’ll make his hot also with toasty bread and melted cheese.  I’ll have just a pile of meat with melted cheese and some sauerkraut. 
Other than that we don’t really have a plan.  I can detect some high thin clouds.  It’s frosty outside.  I’m guessing it will be a dry day.  I will have an outdoor fire and pool will be on the agenda I’m sure.  I took the day off work so we could celebrate mom’s b-day.  It will be nice.

No real plan, some chores and such. We are no longer considered superspreaders, but this bout of #19 is lasting much too long.

I do have gray in the back that seems suspicious. Like setting up shop somewhere. I will watch it closer today to determine its true level of transgression.

I am getting soft. Last week Buck brought me a bunny. Dropped it like the good boy he is and came in the house. The bunny was undamaged that I could tell, no blood or broken legs, so I helped find it’s way out of the yard. I blame my fever.

It won’t be so lucky next time.

Good Sunday morning y'all.
Got up at 4:30 this morning. Put on coffee and fed the dogs. Rambo ate and went out as usual but Boss stayed on her bed. She was awake and alert but she was just being a funny girl, y'all know how girls can be at times. 
Rambo came back in and went to the bedroom and went back to bed. About 30 minutes later as I was enjoy my coffee and recliner surfing, I felt eyes on me. Looked over to see Boss staring a hole in me. She was doing that thing where she looks at you and puffs her jowls in and out.
Suddenly she jumps up and runs to the bedroom screaming at Betty Lou. Next thing I heard was her and Betty Lou arguing back and forth... one trying to out loud the other. Boss lost and soon came out and returned to her bed.
Everything has settled back down now and I think it's safe to get a shower and begin to motivate.

True, Rambo is pretty transparent and I can usually tell what he is thinking. But Boss is a different animal... like I said, I think it's a female thing.
Rambo will look at me and shift his eyes from me to the door, his food bowl or a snack I may have on my side table. Boss just stares, puffs her jowls and you have to guess what she wants.

Good morning, rain has finally stopped and yard flooded again. The joys of living in a swamp. Kind of one of those days just kick back and chill, work on little stuff around the house(that isn't flooded). Do some one pot wonder cooking for future meals since I do a lot of fishing and hunting this time of the year and don't mess with cooking when I come in.

Good morning GTA! Happy Sunday!!! I got up around 0430 and have had my coffee. I literally did nothing all day yesterday. I could do the same today, I’m just not feeling like doing much. But, I will go to Sunday school at 0900 and Church at 1000 hrs. We have small group at 1600. I hope I can take a nap after lunchtime.

Eyes open @0515.  Outta bed @0615 to relieve the bladder.  Decided to shower to wake up.  Made a LARGE moka pot of espresso/coffee.  Heated up and frothed some milk and now I’m enjoying the cappuccino in peace.  It’s frosty outside and looks to be high clouds as of now.  It might actually be a nice day once we surface from the valley when we head off to church. 

We have our annual Christmas Coffee hour this morning at church then after that it will be worship service.  It is SO nice to have a 3rd day off on the weekends.  I think I may start using my leave time throughout the year to make as many 3 day weekends as I can.  I get more accomplished at home, feel more rested and relaxed and it also makes me more energized when I am at work.  I’m really just looking forward to doing very little this afternoon.  We have been busy around here and I know that Mrs. P is feeling a little empty.  Maybe I should take her away for some me and her time and get a little break/recharge.  Maybe I’ll take just her out one evening this week too.  We shall see….

I'm trying to set up my new Samsung tab a8. Haven't had a new tablet since I got the first Samsung tablet that came out.  In fact I just retired it. 1 thing I wish it did was communicate with my Google 7. I have it all set up and it would save a lot of time.  Oh well, I'm retarded er retired....... Sure wish my old one wasn't failing but considering it was made in 2011 I guess I can't fault it.

Made a store run and noticed how damp and cold it is out. I got sniffles, sneezes and now some chills. I think I'll just crawl back under my rock for the day.

Well, looks like we might just get some rain this next week. FINALLY!!! Yeah it's a pita because of the muddy road but the trees desperately need it. .050 of an inch since the beginning of September.

Didn't do much today but light duty chores on my day off but I did install bluetooth TPMS on my car wheels so I know what tire is getting low where I no longer have to check up to all tires to find the one that's low or falsely reading low like my mother's car is doing to her so I also ordered a set for her car as well. It works via a phone app. Around $45 but worth it to me! Shows PSI/Bar/Kpa, tire temp, sensor voltage, notifies when battery low(2-3yrs) and can notify audibly when low pressure or high temp. Pretty neat!

Got up at 4:30 a.m. to see my wife off. Her, our dog and my niece drove to Florida for a vacation. My niece is even paying for it as a thank you to my wife.
Sure is quiet without them.

I can sympathize Jerry.  My spouse has been gone to Texas for ten days.  Hopefully she's back tomorrow.  I can't wait.
