I ran across this Compressor while searching for something else."HPDAVV High Pressure Air Compressor -110v/60Hz - 2.1CFM @ 4500 Psi - Scuba Tank/PCP Rife/Paintball Air Gun Filling Station, 3 HP, Full Frame" !Looks decent and the Amazon Reviews look good.Anyone have any comments on this compressor. Thanks
Anyone have an opinion on this compressor.110V / 60Hz Tank Refill Air Compressor 300bar for Paintball Game Air Gun 2.1cfmhttps://www.ebay.com/itm/110V-60Hz-Tank-Refill-Air-Compressor-300bar-for-Paintball-Game-Air-Gun-2-1cfm/184028746496?hash=item2ad8f7d300:g:C5MAAOSw8Ahc66DDThis compressor doesn't have bad reviews, has dual cooling radiators, fans and a Water Tank for Distilled Water. The Heads, both the Low and high pressure heads, are setup with higher volume to allow water in and around the top of each cylinders. It looks like it would cool better than others I have seen.I don't know enough, actually nothing, about high pressure compressors so my questions may seem a little entry level, and that is why !Thanks
I bought one of their Yong Heng style compressors earlier this year and it was sent back almost immediately. They did a full refund so that was good.
Got a reply from the Manufacturer, quick response.I found out the Manufacturer is, "HPDMC", don't know what that stands for !They have a 220 volt unit and it is on its way to the USA, I need to know the other things I asked about !They didn't state the Hertz or the amperage requirements, I sent a second message to them.
Interesting that it's not 110V...https://www.davyenergy.com/More specifically here... https://www.davyenergy.com/?portfolio_entries=high-pressureRead these reviews... I would run away and look at Genuine Y.H. SCU50 Reviews on Amazon
"Why can't we get a good dependable compressor Made In The USA and that doesn't cost a small fortune.

I would run away and look at Genuine Y.H. SCU50 Reviews on AmazonThe usual ones they ship to the USA are 110 volts, I want a 220 volts. My Barn is already set up for both 110 and 220 vote, and the area I would put the compressor already has both voltages wired up and the 220 circuit is set up for up to 60 amps. (Welder)I always understood that a 220 volt motor will run better, live longer, and use less current than its equivalent 110 Motor.Just me thinking... but when the pressure start to get to the higher end of the fill, a 220 volt motor would handle the load far better than a 110 volt setup.Added: Just looked at the Lins again. DAVV Compressor looks like the one I added a picture for and I think from the links it is the same seller, at least I think I added a picture.Same look overall, looks like the same motor on the outside, but the DAVV had no cooling but the one I added did.As I said, why can the get a good setup for Tank Compressor ?I have read AlanMcD's posting, interesting and I agree a "V" design is a better setup. All of these YH and their spin offs, are the same units, touted differently hoping to the sale and the "HPDMC-"V" Unit I posted about looks like and DAVV has one on their site... here we go again !Are there any made in the USA ?Add #2:The DAVV Site is also called "USA Compressor Inc"... and it is my belief it is a front for selling Chinese Compressors. The one I posted about, the "HPDMC-"V" Unit, says it ships from the same location as the DAVV Units do.As I said... "Why can't we get a good dependable compressor Made In The USA and that doesn't cost a small fortune.
Voltage carries current. So the more voltage, the more current. You may want to contact Davy and ask about a 220v model before giving up on them.
Thanks to all for posting.I will contact DAVV AGAIN, as you said maybe they can help.Biggest problem I need to overcome is the Hertz, USA = 60, Europe = 50...a lot of companies make a 220/Eur at 50 hertz, but they only make a 110/60 hertz for the USA.The "HPDMC" Company, China, makes a similar Compressor to the Air Venturi but with, what appears to be, a better attached cooling system. (Dual Radiators and Fans, Fans and Pump are wired with a switch in the control panel). It will be a while before I buy a Compressor so I have a while to see about the 220/60 hertz unit and just MAYBE someone will come out with a better USA Made Compressor.Later
You do not want to run motors at the wrong frequency as the power comes out wrong. To save typing, this is the most concise simple explanation of doing what you want to do will lead to: http://www.50hz60hz.com/what-happens-if-50hz-motor-is-driven-at-60hz.htmlBasically, you don't want to do it. Personally, I would go for the US specified motor, and if you really want yo at some point you could swap motors to a properly sized US one.Technically you could rewind the motor to work as you want, but it would not be worth it . . .
