I'll make you an offer on that dangerous gun.... I may be wrong but I doubt if any of those divots are deeper than the threads cut into the tubes.Avator, it can also be because some of us want to keep their toys without visual defect. You know, the borderline OCD kind of stuff... Yes, even the $300 ones.I'm already looking into fixing small dings on the front end of an air pistol.

When the Liberty came out with it's 300 bar fill i think people just presumed the cylinder must be titanium? Funny how Nova Vista's website doesn't even show the Avenger listed? Some companies are so lax about keeping there sites updated.

Besides, if my guns don't have scuffs then they ain't getting used. Probably why I don't invest in big money safe queens.

Probably why I don't invest in big money safe queens.Oh it still matters to some of us even behind the band, I'll know it's there and it'll lessen my joy using it when reasonably new. Like my cars. Brand new, the slightest scratch saw me throw a tantrum. A few years down the road with some heavy parking lot use by missus and then I didn't care anymore. My solution : I never buy new vehicles anymore. I don't care from day 1, and I've saved money on Tums
FWIW: I think it was a very civil discussion, for the most part. Discussing a possible issue or concern, not bashing the gun. I liked that Tyler joined the conversation. I can't say I ever saw an ATI rep join in on a Liberty or Freedom discussion.
Dan for the price and their performance you simply can't beat them. I do like my Banjamin Cayden more but that cost another $170 than the Avenger too, I'd buy an Avenger at that price ($477) if it came with a walnut stock in a heartbeat.

I will take the adjustable reg + 6 lbs wieght + 4350 psi fill +300 buck price tag ... that's a lot of boxes the Benjamin does not have checked as far as the wood stock goes I would bet there will be one made available for the Avenger ,and if from boyd's 100 to 200 bucks depending on what type it is ,is what we will be looking at paying for it ... for myself I don't mind the plastic stock ,its a trade off on weight , plus you dont have to worry about dinging a nice wood stock when you are out in the field , I may end up getting a wood stock when available , or go to richards micro fit order order the same stock I used for my badger .40 a tac driver laminate stock forest camo this time with the QB tube inlet cut , then you have to finish cutting for the trigger , and action 149 to 159 bucks is what they cost , the advantage of going after market on the stock with Richards is that you get to pic what style what finish you use instead of having it dictated to you by the manufacture , and as you can see in these pics the Richards is night and day better than the original stock that came with my badger as and example ...
