I tried it on a Chinese chronograph and it did not work.
Then I tried it on a QB78S and it worked.
Then I tried it on another Chinese chronograph and it did not work.

Just went to eBay to try that code... didn't work and none of the many others worked either, for various red-lettered reasons.

Now I have a spare chinese chrony...

Did note, for the record, a blurb on the order form saying they're required by the state of WV to collect taxes, etc etc.
