Tutorial videos for air guns.

I'm brand new to this site and need some help figuring out the 922 22 cal. Power Liner rifle I inherited from my dad.  I can't even figure out how to load it. I can't locate the serial number. I'm sure he got it in 70-80's though.  I looked at videos and they all show a bottom loading mag. and talk about having a chamber for BB's, but I can't see any place for BB's. It appears like the loading port is machined to take a horizontal something with pellets in it, maybe you load them up or buy them preloaded, but I didn't see anything like that for sale.  I thought pellets were all the same, so I just grabbed some 177's. Not sure if it's ok to shoot them in this 22 cal.. I prob need to find the S/N first.  Maybe a video covering a lot of different models and their characteristics. Air Gun's for Dummies. (Probably that "for dummies" is proprietarily protected.)

Air guns are caliber-specific. You can't shoot .177's in a .22. Or vise-versa. A .22 needs .22 caliber pellets only. A rifle like that would do well with 12.65gr to about 16.3gr or so. ** "gr" stands for " grain". " g" stands for " gram". It takes like 18 grains to equal 1 gram.

I've not done any disassembly on my springers but i have completely taken apart my Hammerli and need to do so for my 2400KT--it's got a stuck 12 gram cartridge.

Try pointing the barrel down toward the floor and cock and dry fire it several times. 
It will just snap with no CO2 but the vibration may cause the cartridge to fall out. 
You can also sling the gun towards the floor or ground while dry firing it.
That gives the cartridge a little more force to fall out.

I still think efforts could be better spent on the GTA Library. Tutorials and Information? Isn't that what a library is for? The rest of the forum is for specific discussion.
Just my opinion...
I don't think we need more gates.... I think we could make better use and organization of what we have.
If someone asks for a tutorial... send them to the library. If you present a tutorial and then open it up for Q/A your gonna get a big ole thread that is likely to go off topic.

Yes it is. It covers about 80% of what anyone new would need to know and can most likely teach so called people that have been around the block a time or two maybe things they never knew or thought they did. The ((interactive)) illustrations/demos are priceless!

Fantastic idea for sure.

Videos on re-sealing a Maraduer or any PCP with the proper types of lubrication since a PCP would be priceless.

Videos on pulling down and resealing some of the classic old CO2 AG's like a Crosman 150.

Videos on how to pull out, repair and re-install a regulator.

I know some of these videos already exist, but for some reason some of the quality is not very good and/ or gaps of information is missing.
